Is there any game like it on the market today? and if so, does it have all the features and customization that LBP has. Can you import your own pictures? can you give out your own creations as rewards?

You can't classify LBP as one thing or another it's a collaboration of ideas, that gives a real feel of comunity far better than any sub-par level editor.

For me, its because its immersive, detailed, and allows for a great deal of imaginitive creativity the likes of which have never been seen in a console game before. Maybe its a game you're just not going to get though? Nothing wrong with that, I mean hey, its not designed for everyone.

Three words: Ultimate User Creativity.

1. It is the nextgen of coloring books for kids.

2. We can now "somewhat" design our own 2D scroller games. Maybe something similar to Mario's 2D days.

3. It is a ps3 exclusive.

4.A Nintendo manager thinks LBP should be on Wii. LOL

5. Did you see the video of some sony researcher using a ps3 eye to scan in everyday objects into a game. Well, if LBP can also people to use the eye to scan everyday objects (or even orgami) into LBP and then use those objects in the LBP world, that would be cool.

Renting this would be a waste of time, no time to really design anything and just get a taste of the online. I thought it was a Downloadable game anyways?

It's fianally, FINALLY, something different.

It's got simply stunning viuals

The music is addictive as hell

Allows players to be more creative than any game in the past.

I think Spore takes that cake, but its a distant second.

Customization is hardly ever done on the level that LBP does it. The only other thing that can compare to LBP in terms of customization is Garry's Mod. I don't know about you, but I don't know of many games where you can customize/create anything.

Co-Op being around for years doesn't stop it from being a great idea today.

The big deal with LittleBigPlanet is basically that you can design the levels and how you can design them. The gameplay really doesn't look too special, but the levels can make all the difference. The level designer looks to allow for a great amount of depth and seems to be pretty accessible. The amount of customization in this game is astounding.TheEndBoss

That's one thing I'll give it, it's pretty insane for a console.

honestly as a PS3 owner I can't say that I am very excited about the game, but this game is so good that it won GameSpot award for best game during E3 2007, and I do think that this is a lot of credit that goes to the game coming from a very picky site.

I'm not excited about LBP, but interested. Its like a Platformer version of RPGmaker, on a much more inclusive level. But its worth can only be determined by your creativity and motivation to use it.

So its interface and controls could make or break this game. Which is why I'm reserving judgement til it actually release.

Ok..the only game that has EVER been like that is Garrys Mod for the Source Engine.

The difference is that LBP is A LOT more user friendly. For Garry's mod its one of those..you gotta know what you are doing, kind things. And also LBP is a lot more community based.

There's more threads on why this game will suck, than why this game looks cool.

Can't you guys just accept that it looks like a fun game to some people? It doesn't need to have insane graphics and guns and people exploding everywhere. It just looks like a fun title, simple as that.

MGSIV will be great, we no nothing that says Killzone 2 will be special (besides graphics) and same goes for LBP
