I borrowed my cousins PS3 for about 1 week. I borrowed his Uncharted 2 and MGS4. With that I rented all the ratchet n clank games, downloaded the infamous demo but didnt like it, and couldnt see myself playing LBP alone. I finished uncharted and ratchet and im half way through MGS4 in about a week. When god of war 3 comes out I plan on renting that IMMEDIATLY along with heavy rain at blockbuster for about $10 Now after March 9th when im done with all these games what else is their to do? Uncharted 2 online? why I have gears of war Killzone? I have halo 3 and ODST along with Orange box So tell me why should I buy a PS3? johnsonmrom

I have over 500 hours on the Orange box on 360, I lost an entire summer with gears of war online, Halo 3 I cry when I think of how much I played BTB online...

Sure demos are supposed to give you a first good impression but it doesn't mean it gives the full product . Uncharted 2 MP is great and fantastic though you just need to get used to it . And what are you talking about KZ2 SP ? It has all the good stuff in it yet you're saying its boring ? I'm thinking you just want some more "colour" into games .

My suggestion , rent Demon Souls , MAG , Valkyria Chronicles , AC2 , Heavy Rain , inFamous , R&C:ACIT , Ninja Gaiden Sigma . The list can go on .

Anyhow, don't forget about Resonance of Fate and Yakuza 3. The former is said to be better than FF13, and the latter is an instant classic.

Why is every thread about the PS3's worthiness written from the perspective of someone already owning a 360?

It's just as easy to make a thread about "Why should I get the 360": "Borrowed my friend's 360 for a week, beat Halo 3, ODST and Gears of War 2. Tried Fable 2 but didn't like it. What now?"

You can pretend that you play your Xbox 360 all day, and nobody will hold it against you(except half of this forum), but we all know that PS3 dominates Xbox 360, PC dominates PS3, and Wii dominates all. But you can still pretend that you aren't using an alt account, you're borrowing a PS3, and you actually play your Xbox 360 that much.
