I'm gonna say no. You know why? Because Xbox gamers have been so accustomed to buying complete trash from Microsoft, that this should be no exception. So MS might as well recoup some of the cost from the starving Xbox fanbase who've been molded to buy anything they release. I voted no and I think that they should keep it in a perpetual state of development so as to keep cows constantly on edge and thinking about it.

Well it was like 5 years ago when the first showed it and true lems like Shawn30, PNF, RROD ect had high helps for Xbone, but MS dun goofed. Now its in DNF territory.

I didn't think Crackdown 3 was actually at E3 for any hands on or anything else beyond the trailer. And wasn't the IGN piece written strictly off the trailer and largely criticizing the whole Terry Crews and game identity thing? Indeed, I am not sure that piece said a single thing about gameplay.

I am not thinking this is actually going to be good, but I am not sure you are introducing any new information. This thread smells as if it is nothing more than SW fluff with nothing to discuss because we have all seen the same trailer and this has been hashed to death many times.

I have yet to see anyone including Xbox fans who at this point think this is going to be very good, let alone amazing. Some people are hopeful that the core game play will be fun and that is about it. No one is buying this game if the reviews suck.

Don't tell me it's total BS when it's the very pattern we've seen with the last two MS releases. A bunch of MS fans are trying to backpedal on Crackdown 3 now that they feel shaky about it, but it doesn't matter anyway because they know they're going to swarm it like flies on shit. This will be another high 60s game on Metacritic that'll end up charting on NPD, exposing the Xbox fanbase as being starved for games and willing to buy into anything they're served.

People were hyping this game as the second coming when they saw the supposed destruction in the game's target videos, with MS themselves saying the power of the cloud would boost this game's capabilities 20-fold. There's a lot of weight on loaded statements like that, and MS can't stop making them. And the fandom keeps falling for it hook, line and sinker. Don't get mad at me for seeing the pattern, you know I'm right.

Why do you think all these Xbox guys are trying to talk up multiplayer games now? Because they know these games are functionally shit core games, but will talk about how much fun they had with their friends. You can get piss drunk with your buddies and throw rocks at each other and still have a good time, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Its like Cows want revenge against lems for getting their asses kicked last gen, when COWS would hype up every single one of Sony's shitty games last gen, and put their full weight behind every one of them as the game thats going to turn the tide and make PS3 close the gap with 360. Of course all of those games would flop, or be dead on arrival, and Cows would get roasted. Cows were the ones who felt the need to put their full weight behind every game Sony put out last gen, reguardless of whether or not they gave two shits about any of those shitty games.

Cows started that nonsense last gen, and got roasted for it. Now, they're trying to project their stupidity last gen, onto lems THIS gen. But that is a false equivalence.

Another example of this is Cows have been trying so hard this gen to make "secret sauce" and "teh cloud" the lemmings counterpart to Cows "powah of teh cell" bullshit from last gen. That is a false equivalence. I argued with way too many Cows last gen who thought the cell processor was magic, and defied the laws of thermodynamics.

Just because Cows were stupid enough to believe TEH CELL nonsense in earnest last gen, they're trying to make it look like theres a large contingency of lems doing the equivalent of that stupidity this gen. Again, false equivalence.

And go play this terrible game and stop worrying what we think about it. You obviously don't care since you're still carrying water for Microsoft after nothing but Forza games to latch onto coming up on about three damn years now.

No one should be saying to cancel the game now. It's come too far and MS has taken many Ls this gen, so why stop now? Canceling this game isn't worth the PR fallout, so they may as well face the music. Team Xbox is getting angrier at Sony and their fans for all of Microsoft's faux pas, and they're directing that at the wrong place. It's not Sony's fault MS can't put out good games that aren't Halo/Gears/Forza related, or overhype everything like the X1X and the cloud etc., or are already talking about next gen after buying a $500 console from them.

MS fans are getting surlier when MS gives them no cards to play that they can use for the console war. That's why we're down to begging Sony for crossplay in hopes to take their power away over the market. MS is failing you. But go, buy your game. It's slim pickings on Xbox so it's pretty much all you've got. Just don't expect us to take you seriously when you come up with a long winded defense of why you'd favor this over Sony titles.

Noone is hyping, or has ever hyped Crackdown, at least not in earnest, to the extent that Cows want them to. And most certainly not to the extent that Cows earnestly hyped their own awful games last gen. Cows are trying to project that onto lems. Lems have never felt the need to put their full weight behind every game MS makes, as the savior of the platform. Thats a pathology that began exclusively with Cows last gen.

It was Hyped like any other platform excluive, whether that's Sony, Ms or Nintendo. The same people I mentioned did Hype it and of coarse when the tried and sell the cloud with "zomg destruction" becuase of the cloud, was classic.

I mean, this isnt a 343i or Coalition game, or anything. This game, from its inception, was always a dubious proposition.

Its an un-asked for sequel to a low profile franchise of middling critical reception, and underwhelming sales, known almost entirely for being packaged with the Halo 3 demo, a game thats being colaborated on together by three different no-name, low profile studios at the same time (that most reading this probably cant name without googling), none of whom are the original developers of the series.

Again, this was a dubious proposition from the get go.

Sure it was hyped because it's an exclusive, but never as a flagship franchise....because it's a known franchise with one pretty good gameplay game and the second a bit of a disappointment. No one thinks or thought this is the second coming of Christ.

And what's wrong about being hyped on the destruction? That was pretty cool when first shown. Are you saying it was wrong for gamers to think that was potentially fun and interesting?
