Craptacular!!!

The Xbox 360. Yes thats right.

After getting the console in January 2006 I have gotten the 3 rings of death and sent it in 3 times. Each time it takes 3 weeks to a month to get it back. It has broken down so much I had to buy a PS2 as back up so I had some games to play while the POS is in the shop. What did I get for my troubles? One time a copy of PGR3 and the other a copy of Kameo. Oh WOW.

I traded in my old Xbox because it was suppose to be BC. I got a copy of KOTOR and the game is unplayable because the audio keeps cutting out on the dialoge. It has some great graphix and good games, but it is the shoddiest piece of hardware ever!!

Wow, just wow, just wow, just wow, just wow.....

Name me another console that has had as many problems as the 360. I have one, It has great games, has great software but completely ridiculously unreliable hardware.

I remember the NES days, blowing on cartridges, nothing comparable to the 360. I remember the PS1 overheating rumours and some DRE's, only a small number of defective units. And I remember the PS2 with DRE's, but after a while this became again a non-issue, Sony stepped up and fixed the problem.

Why it's taking MS so long to fix the RROD and disc scratching problems, to stamp it out is beyond me. But looking at the whole xbox live debacle it's probably just laziness on their part. And before someone comes and says but MS is so kind to give you 3 year warranty. MS knows they have a faulty system on their hands and it's their way to not have massive hordes of angry consumers banging at their door.

So yet again I ask name me one (proper major release console, not some Chinese knock-off like the Vii) console that has had the problems on the scale of the 360.
