Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon? (Probably the last battle) this gen!!!

Well Spyro and Crash have come a long way, and while in my opinion Crash has survived much less pain then Spyro, I find it very strange Spyro is being milked for cash instead.

Anyway I believe this will most likely be the LAST GEN these 2 franchises will probably show up. The Spyro game coming out took forever and isn't even about Spyro, andCrash has seen nothing but an IOS racing game. Both series have had cancellations and loss of finacial support to even bother with them.

So as I believe the end is finally coming near, I would look at all the games for each series from the 5th gen, till now on all the consoles they have been on until now, and FINALLY decide which one of these franchises is the best. Which has more games that still are playable in time, which was more interesting, had better design.

So SW it's time to settle which of these characters has had the better games through the generations. Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon!

ummm ... Spyro's legacy faded awya a long time ago, they screwed up the franchise this gen. Crash is legendary.

I liked Crash Bandicoot when Naughty Dog had control of it. I didn't like Spyro at all.

Well since Crash Bandicoot still had decent games last gen while Spyro ran the gamut from horrible to medicore I'm gonna vote Crash.

The two series died for me when Insomniac and Naughty Dog ditched them but I've always preferred the Crash Bandicoot games.fabz_95

Grew up with Spyro games. Crash for me was that kinda cool game I always used to play at my cousin's house as a kid :P

Spyro for me, Spyro 2 pretty much defined my childhood.

I wish someone would hammer these two zombie-titles back into the ground where they belong. I can't speak for Spyro, but I think Crash died when the PS2 came out. It had run its course.

I go with Crash but the gap between them is rather small, also I think both became bad after the 3rd title (well with the exclusion of CTR)

Crash all the way. I've played a little bit of Mind Over Mutant and it's a lot of fun so far. It's rather low on priority for my backlog though.

The first two Crash games were very good. Never got into Spyro though...so Crash would win for me.

Use to love playing Spyro games. Those were the days...

I'm just glad Sly Cooper isin't going anywhere though :)

Crash died when Naughty Dog ditched the franchise. The first three games are some of my favorites on the PSX.

man... Crash Team Racing is like the best kart racing game ever. I had so much fun and rage over them time trails. Crash > Mutated Frog

Ratchet and Clank

Crash also had a platforming game on the DS this generation that wasn't bad. It wasn't real Crash but it was still a decent platformer, other than a boss that i can beat. So I say Crash is better. He's changed a lot, but hasn't been destroyed as much as Spyro. Either way, they were both best on the PS1.
