He's last work was FF6 and wen on to be an executive producer for the upcoming FFs, kingdom hearts and parasite eve.

An executive producer is like a director mate, he may not write the script (sometimes they do) but once the script is in his hands he has full control of it. Basically its a promotion most game designers want, kojima is a game design/executive producer man so it tells you a lot.
The games coming out of mistwalker may not sell great but none the less will be great roleplaying games.

It was clearly stated on Wikipedia that he wasnt hands on kingdom hearts, parastive eve and the rest of the FFs. While with Kojima everything in MGS is his vision. And blue dragon only sold 200,000 copies, dont expect high sales here in america.. especially from Xbox fanbase.(Note: Bioshock is coming at the same month as Blue Dragon)[QUOTE="Zenkuso"][QUOTE="Tamarind_Face"]Yeah he isnt the one who made kingdom hearts, he's just was the executive producer. i can imagine, and it doesnt look much better. japan is a hardcore rpg place, we all know that, and that game is hardcore rpg and in japan japanese 360 owners dont have many games that appeal to them except that one and a few others, but BD is definately their version of gears. but as far as the rest of the 360 fanbase goes, they are into shootersand sports mainly, we can see this from the top selling games. so dont expect Blue dragon to blow up into a phenomenon, but that doesnt mean its not a good game, it just wont blow up the sales charts if you take everything into account. maybe it will, but it doesnt look that way.[QUOTE="xjet039"][QUOTE="Zenkuso"][QUOTE="Tamarind_Face"]Yeah he isnt the one who made kingdom hearts, he's just was the executive producer. only 1 game, out of ps3 lineup sold more than 200,000 with twice the user base. So based on that fact, it did better than ANY game for ps3

All I see is crappy artNeal_GoreWHAT!?
You're crazy!
Then again, I'd be a bit biased, because I just love the art, and the person who does it.

Tamarind_Face
Yeah but it doesn't mean he didn't have a hand in them, kojima himself writes, produces and directs the MGS games but has little to no hand in the majority of the other games but he is still credited with the respect for them, heck people think that kojima was the mastermind behind the ZOE series when he was just the third in control. Yet the two actual guys behind the project get little to no credit, both even quit because of it and they had to get another guy to do the second game completely.
This was all during a time kojima was planning, designing and making metal gear solid 2 for the ps2 that both these games came out by the way, so thus we should discredit him from such because of his lax role as a producer in them?
Should we to consider that a factor with kojima? He is hailed as a god game designer/producer as well, but we only bag Sakaguchi for having a lax handed in such roles cause he is trying to work multiple titles?
I don't think so, why? Cause its double standards and fanboyism at its best, you want to be called a fanboy?
