[QUOTE="jedikevin2"] Who Really knows actually.. More and more time goes by, more it could possible be like that. I game already has that Dx9 multiplatform going for it. Its starting to establish they goign with the candy cake over on visuals when it comes to Pc and dx 11.
Add in this article and things seem Meh.

That article says nothing, except that directx 11 is coming. And I know actually, because there would be a riot and a boycott petition if they released a PC game with this much "visuals" history... with no real way to adjust the visuals.
I honestly think this "demo"is a beta test, or rather, practical joke from crytek. They're using it as an open beta to test the servers, code, tweak maps, tweak some gameplay stuff... and that's it. Why everyone expected a "multiplayer demo" to be the entire game, or even have half of the crap people are whining about, is beyond me.
Just wait. It's gonna be gnar gnar.
The article probes that whole feeling on graphic options and how meh the makers are talking about the light option approach on the demo. Everyone hopes they will do the right thing but I have my doubts.
The problem so far on crysis 2 with whats been released out in the wild is we have seen when a developer takes that "candy coat" approach of dx9 to dx11 and we have seen when a developer actually utilizes infastructure correctly.. Seems Crysis 2 will be the pure candy coat style that might not be really what the game could have been. I don't really care for crysis at all but it is pretty lolfest to see low FOV, low Draw distnace, use of head bobbing, "press start to begin" etc so far. Definitely doesn't bold well for the Pc side of things. Hopefully the game will have 20+ hrs of single player gameplay(excluding CGI movies) and a great AI.. Sadly, I don't think it will. Who knows, crytek might surprise everyone on that end.
