Played through on Post Human and took 8 hours. Gonna try get all the collectibles once Dx11 comes out. :D
we all know Crysis games have always been about Graphics, maybe campaign. So to all Crysis 2 console Hype-guys, how long did the Graphics or campaign last ya before the thought of trading/ selling came to mind? Because we all know the Multiplayer is a straight out COD + Halo rip off. monster-hunt
Far longer than Gears 2and Uncharted 2 combined
Not long at all...you know how Vidoes on youtube usually dont do the game justice? Well tihs time they looked better than what I was expecting when I actually played teh game. When I played it everything looked low res and washed out (360). I put 5 hours into the game which had horrible shooting mechanics and just traded it in...I couldnt go an hour each play session before I got bored. It didnt deliver this time around...o well.
Alienware mx11x and you get 360 version over pc :shock:Not long at all...you know how Vidoes on youtube usually dont do the game justice? the length of the first level then they just looked average, none of that wow factor of the first game or even far cry at its time. imprezawrx500The game had better and better graphics and levels as you went on? I was impressed at Times Square and then again at that Lighthouse level.

Nah, the art design was cool. But on a technical level this game is two steps behind the first. More artistic detail in the world, sure, but ugly textures and objects going through one another are not "better and better" as you play.
Now I'm disapointed to hear that. Only lasted 6 hours with me, I don't see how people take longer, that was with a ton of deaths, guess they explore a lot, maybe?[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]The single player is 7 hours long. fusionhunter

They don't just rush through it COD style? If you just intend to rush up to the objective, that's going to be really quick. But there are alot of setup things you can do if you scan the environment and use it to your advantage. In this level as you look on from above, these guys talk to each other and say they're going to check out a cafe, which you're on. Infront of it is a giant donut that can be released, landing on and blowing up a car. Now if you put two and two together...you can drop the donut, killing the patrol unit as they pass by. There are loads of other semi-scripted things and that's why it pays to explore and take it slow. I checked my stats and I've spent 30 hours on a Normal and a PSW playthrough. Both completed.[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]The single player is 7 hours long. Inconsistancy

On a technical level, Crysis 2 actually better than the first. Everything is technically better, believe it or not, compared to Crysis 1. The only backwards steps are, low res textures, no POM and reduced destruction (but still the same tech in Crysis 1). If you don't believe me http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?threadid=67672&sid=c408f8094ddc99d2e35ccfc6f138e98bDX11 probably won't make a huge difference given that it's pretty much a console portPlayed through on Post Human and took 8 hours. [QUOTE="DreamCryotank"]DX11 probably won't make a huge difference given that it's pretty much a console portit's not a console port at all, each version was built from the ground up, you really should do some reading before posting instead of snatching rubbish out of thin air, there is a different version of cryengine 3 optimised for each of the consoles and the PCPlayed through on Post Human and took 8 hours. Gonna try get all the collectibles once Dx11 comes out. :D
