Crysis 2 Mods will expose consoles just like Crysis did.

I have faith modders will show the true potential of the cryEngine 3 just like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHNWj8HmWwQ&feature=player_embedded. Maybe not that far ahead but to a point where vanillia Crysis 2 looks like crap.

Just like they did with Crysis

Just like they did with GTA IV

Just like Halif Life 2.

Just Like Fallout 3

Just like Oblivion

I thought all you PC gamers were saying that crysis 2 sucked but apparently now, with a graphical upgrade, it will become a better game? I think something is being exposed here and it isnt the consoles.

Pretty much, lol. We all know what the PC is capable of and it is hardly shocking news. Regardless, what Crytek was able to achieve on consoles is amazing and you can't take away from that fact by touting how superior the PC is. We know it's superior, just let us 'console peasants' enjoy what we are getting as well. Which is an incredible looking game.

I absolutely HATE that cinematic mod for HL2! It totally ruined Alyx and turned her into a jiggly whore with Adriana Lima's face. She is my favorite Victoria Secret supermodel, but I don't want her in my HL2!

Almost everything about that mod ruined HL2, especially since I love HL2 as it is.

...you know, I remember a time in SW when Hermits were something to be respected, not to be observed with a sense of amusement like any other console fanbase. The passing of the old breed is to be much lamented. At least we got AdrianWerner still here to remind us of better days before Crysis brought about a deevolution of the Hermit fanbase.

Truth. While fanboys so desperately fight over which low quality port is "graphics king", the real version of crysis will truly shine brightest...

Thats from this gen m8, the AAA/AA games PC gamers claim owenage with are from the launch of the 360, if we count the whole library it would be a long long list.

anyway, you are touching on what I said yesterday, and have been saying for a long time.... Hermits claim Crysis is an amazing game and that the visuals arent what make it so. Yet they seem so focused on it, in these discussions. Why do they care so much about Crysis 2's graphics when apparently the game will be TERRIBLE becuz of da conzolizationZ!

you mean to experience this amazing thing on PC not only do I have to spend loads of money to get a rig capable of playing the latest game...I better hope the rig I have is capable of playing the game after the mod cause allot of graphical conversion mods make the requirments for a game far more then they were....
Then there is the whole installing and other such processes...On consoles I get a system, hook up to my tv, buy a game...pop game in...it works...
