The multiplayer wont be that good going by the beta but the campaign seems awesome! Not 'Halo killer' for sure.

in terms of multiplayer? halo isnt gonna be beaten by crysis 2's multiplayer, in terms of single player? i think it will, from the clips ive seen of the single player...it looks....really really good
Be extremely hard for anything to top Half-Life 2 for me. The story unlike most FPS including crysis actually kept me interested all the way through, even the episodes. I really want to know who the gman is.
I doubt it'll be better then Half Life 2, or Stalker, but after watching the Story trailer my mind was blown. The atmosphere and ambience was perfect, rivalling Half Life 2 imo. Too bad the enemies aren't as organic and realistic as Half Life 2s. Gameplay wise, it''ll probably be one of the best FPS ever.
Crysis 2 looks lame..... Like super dumbed down sequel lame.
Like, remember how good F.E.A.R. was? Now look at where that series has gone.... yeah, that's what Crysis 2 reminds me of right now.

Um what? What looks lame? The enviroment? The presentation and story makes Crysis 1 look like crap in comparison. Sure, the scale might be compromised, but if they manage to replace that with spectacular set pieces, then I don't see how it looks lame. Half Life 2 had mediocre gameplay, but superb set pieces. The same can be said about Resident Evil 4. Jumping from 1 skyscraper to the next >>>>>>> running through the same jungle over and over again.
That's what i thought before playing the PC MP beta. If the single player resembles anything i experienced during the MP then Crysis 2 could be a major disappointment.
Maybe on PC,but as far as consoles are concerned they have really tough competition(visually) from the Likes of Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 and not to forget HALO and Gears on the X360
