No, it was a good game but I have had way more fun with alot of other games. The zero grav level sucked. I also didnt think warhead was near as fun as the original. If the graphics were not as good as they are we would have already forgotton about this game

Ummm no... O.o based on what games are on the PC, I would call the gameplay of Crysis average (mostly because of Far cry and the likes, weve seen it before, they just added a few bells and whistles.

It is not a deep game, the story aint very good, the voice acting is just a nodge above abysmal, and honeslty? I prefer STALKER over Crysis this gen. If all gens are taken in acount and all systems? then I think there is atleast 100 games I would say were Better...

Like Thief, Deus ex, System shock 2, Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines, Syndicate, UFO, Duke Nukem 3d, Doom, quake 2... (and the lsit goes on)

Now I aint saying it is a Bad game, and in this gen it is in the top 3 in my oppinion, but thats because this gen had the worst freakin games in a long time, especially FPS games are lacking. No diffeculty, no feeling of accomplishment when you survive through something hard, so much handholding the games are almost playing themselves, in some cases they even shoot for you on occation -.-

Crysis comes off as a game that has got some dignity left, it is not afraid to rough you up a bit (altho I still have an insane distaste for health and armorregen.), and it atleast lets you pick your own way of doing things, without making it clear what the devs intended you to do.

I disagree, I gues syou could argue for it being the best FPS ever but it comes nowhere near touching the throne of best game ever. (at least imho it doesnt.)

Only reason why it Crysis gets praised like it does is because of it's graphics, that's ALL. So with that being said, Crysis is Far away from being best game ever.n00bkid

Crysis is amazing but it's not the best game ever. There is no best game ever.

I disagree... Graphics isn't the only thing in video games. I like a good story and interesting characters in video games, two aspects that are seriously lacking in Crysis. I bought Crysis with my new PC a few months ago and played for about 2 to 4 hours and I haven't played it since. The impressive visuals get old and then you realize it's a generic FPS with an uninteresting story and characters. jdt532

It's not the best game ever, but it's still a fantastic game.

You're right KZ2 doesn't have a good story and characters which is why I don't love that game either. ;) In fact I'm not a real big FPS fan and the FPS games that I really enjoyed I can count on one hand. Deus EX is an example of a FPS that's more to my liking but then it's not a pure FPS either.

That's why Crysis 2, a dumbed down version that is a shadow of Crysis, will be considered one of the greatest games of all time.

In hindsight I probably overrated it a little, maybe I was influenced by the hype... Don't get me wrong it's a good game but I may readjust that rating to an 8.5.

Yes Crysis is the definitive FPS, but let the consolites have there KZ2, and Halo 3. I do enjoy Halo 3 though the MP is fun. Crysis though the single player has so much replayablility, excellent enemy AI, amazing physics, and a top notch story relatively when comparing it to other FPS single player.
