Remember that this beta has no AA, AF, and both very high and ultra high settings are disabled. Not to mention this is DX9.
Still looks better than any other game out there.
looks pretty good, but definitely not up to the hype.MrEpyxThe two highest graphics settings were disabled, also AA and AF were disabled and the beta was running in DX9 mode. Another thing, multiplayer is usually a slight downgrade over single player.

Do you happen to know what specs this person's PC has. It looks amazing (I love the pic that showed the gravel on the side of the road). The only thing scaring me is that they are only getting 30fps, and seeing as this is probally a hardcore PC gamer, then he probally has top of the line hardware. But I am still at awe at this, and I think we are witnessing the next generation unfolding.ConfusedZone
I get 50-60 easy on this rig...
8800GTS 640MB
4 GIGS of DDR3 Ram
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850, 3.00GHz
Unfortunately it doesn't support proper sli setup at the moment so everytime i played it i had to disable my sli connection but running its easy given you've got hardware within the last 2 years at least ;)

You got DDR3 ram or DDR2?
And if you got DDR3 ram what motherboard do you have. Cause I see no SLI boards that support DDR3 just crossfire.
I hope my rig can run it... currently I have 2 gigs of RAM, an 8800GT 640 MB, and 5.6 ghz of speed...I hope it can run it on at least very high. :(
You can prolly run in on Max with DX10.
with that setup.

i've never heard of an 8800GT and a 5.6 ghz CPU is almost impossible without liquid nitrogen...
[QUOTE="raskullibur"]How about them Framerates?
Framerates should be included when posting pc Screens.
The_Ish
If I'm not mistaken... the little numbers at the bottom right are the framerates...which seem to be pretty stable for whatever PC is running it...
Those are pretty poor framerates for a PC game. I just hope that person isn't using some mega setup that I wouldn't bother spending money on.
I should have been more clear on my sli setup, its been disabled for awhile lol, i never realized when i upgraded my board that sli & ddr3 hated each other til they wouldn't work. My boards a asus P5K3 deluxe btw

whoa that's overkill. no game will use all that!

i've never heard of an 8800GT and a 5.6 ghz CPU is almost impossible without liquid nitrogen...
Nvidia came out with Gforce 8800GT
And no, technically you wouldn't need liquid nitrogen for a 5.6 ghz CPU...liquid nitrogen is reserved for supercomputers with over 1 terahertz of speed...
and yes, my CPU clocks in at 5.6 ghz...its called dual core CPU's...

you don't add up the core speeds. and there is no 8800 GT, there's an 8600GT, and an 8800GTS

Then you need to go play more games. That water looks horrendous and the textures look plain flat in some areas.

I think he got the term wrong....I think he ment phase change cooling....they overclocked a p4 to over 7.5 using it.

woops ...your right, it is a GTS...I'm too used to GT for some reason...>_>
also...really? I thought it would make sense, but I guess not. Fine, I have a 2.8 ghz AMD dual core CPU

The positives outweighs the negatives in these screens. Still looks better than anything else.I only see crossfire boards that run DDR3 ,I see no 680i boards that do.

There isn't my sli whilst able to fit in an connect doesn't work thus i keep it disabled, i should have been more clear on it but yeah i rarely think on the fly when typing fast. My boards a ASUS P5K3 Deluxe, not the greatest thing but was better then my last board which only supported DD2 but had sli support.
I edited my post after you modified yours btw.

raskullibur
The framerate is in the lower left hand corner of each picture. 20-35 frames it seems. Probably dips like crazy when in firefights.
Keep telling yourself that to make you feel better.Remember that this beta has no AA, AF, and both very high and ultra high settings are disabled. Not to mention this is DX9.
