The thing is, they include the map editor they used to create the game. So you can, in theory, create your own Crysis storyline.

but technology does not give games GOTY. it should definately get tech of the year though. its an absolutely outstanding achievement.

amazing, crysis editor really blows ut3 editor away, i cant wait to see what the modding community will manage to create with this.

but this prooves that Crysis should get the best editor of the year award, not the best game, still i think crysis has a shot at goty.

If every game went by realistic physics, they would be severely broken. Mario would die before Galaxy really even started, since he can't breathe in space. If he had a helmet, he'd still need something to stop him from flying off asteroids and floating on forever every time he jumps. I don't know what that has to do with the topic, but imo, this video shows why SMG is GOTY material. It's hard to see why that mission is so difficult, but anyone who's tried it will understand.

Anyway, i found it a bit boring and the character model on the "chair" looked aweful. Apart from that...OK.

Really really cool, BUT did you notice the guy can't watch the explosion for more than 2 secs or his system will crash? Great game but is there a system out yet they can run this thing maxxed out?dhjohns

He would have recorded it with a poor frame rate, and sped up the recoreded fraps video.

I'm amazed...but it's not GOTY just because of that.

Crysis is nothing but a scam. It's just pretty graphics and some sort of lame attempt to make you buy the next chapter.

Have you played crysis? Dont get me wrong, the games falls apart about 3/4 of the way in and goes all "generic fps" on us. The 1st 3/4 though are truly amazing. Gameplay is what you want it to be, thats the beauty of crysis. You play it how u want. Even the last 1/4, although not up to the standard of the rest of the game, is better than most other fps games out there.
