Crysis and Crysis Warhead are legendary FPS, both gameplay and visual wise. Many games can't still come close to the interactivity that game possessed.
Right?
I remember my first truly awesome moment where I took advantage of everything in the game. There was a patrol of soldiers, about four of them, but they didn't spot me. They were walking single-file in a forested area. So I turn on my cloak and grab the last guy, then use speed mode to dash away. I watch the soldier pass out and die as I hold his throat in my hands. I then turn on strength mode and, from behind a rock, toss his corpse at his comrades. They panic, and spread out to search the area.
Perfect, I think *evil smile*
I then use speed mode, zoom up to the guy on the left, but I get spotted. Doesn't matter; by the time his buddies have reacted and started shooting, I've got this asshole soldier in my clutches as well and I've zoomed away 100 yards or so. I turn on strength mode and throw him against the rock cliff, likely shattering his spine.
Two left :D
At this point, the guy leading the patrol fired off a flare so there are reinforcements coming. I pull out my assault rifle and, using the customization options, attach the silencer and 4x scope. I find a nice perch up the hill and hide in some bushes, pull out my binoculars, and spot all the enemies I can. Working from the outside in, I start picking off soldiers with headshots. Strength mode helps me out here as it stop my gun from swaying. I am able to take out three of them before they zero in on my position and I take a few shots. No bother, my suit can handle it (but my energy was low at that point, so I decided to relocate).
There's maybe two or three guys left. Me, enjoying stealth, decide to finish this whole encounter as I started it. I equip my silenced pistol, which *fun fact* doesn't decloak me when fired if I keep it to a single shot. So I sneak up on the remaining soldier and put one bullet in each of their heads.
Except one. I leave a survivor to tell the story. I decloak in front of him and as he spots me, I run away and move on to the next area and continue my mission. Where dozens (hundreds?) of encounters just like this await me. Bases to sneak through, bases to blow up, vehicles to destroy, soldiers to toy with, barrels of fuel to explode...
