Are you saying those are your specs or that you will have to upgrade up to those specs?
...either way, clarification please.
Hermits can you explain to me thatI have to worry owning a 6000+ dual core 8800 GTS 640mb 2 gigs of PC6400 ram that I still am going to have a problem running Crysis? Do I need to upgrade to more ram? I mean come on already, these awesome games that come out on PC are just unrealistic to the normal gamers who cant afford a HIGH END PC. Please tell me if my PC can run Crysis or Do I have to get another one???? 360 PS3 wii all work no worrys ever.Reyes360You should have bougt an e6600 and overclock it.

Pocessor.
ok i ended up going intel 6750E 2 gigs of ram 8800GTS 640mb card very good power supply and a nice heat sink on the cpu for a little overclocking. NO problem with running Crysis right on HIGH?
Reyes360
Nope, infact I would say from what we have been told from Crytek, you can run it on Ultra-High DX10 at 1280*1024 resolution. Oh and FYI, you don't need anything more than stock fans to overclock any of the Core 2 CPU's.... They will overclock to much higher than 3.0GHz(probably 3.5GHz) on stock cooling.

You need more Pentiums.
[QUOTE="Dopemonk736"]You won't run it on max settings, but you'll run it on highReyes360
wow see this is what i mean.... now im upset.. what if i OC my E6750 to 3.4 and get another stick of Ram?????????? and overclock my GTS a little?
Ultra-High. Thats what you will run it at. Max is Ultra High(for the time being.... 18 months from now they will update the graphics making higher settings that will require newer hardware). Don't worry. 90% of the videos out there for Crysis are Ultra-High DX9 videos. The Ultra-High Dx10 looks much, MUCH better than that even. Believe me you won't be disappointed.
You won't run it on max settings, but you'll run it on highDopemonk736
An 8800GTS won't? Something doesn't sound right.
I've seen worse.Thanks,

You would do all that and risk damaging your computer because one GS user is presuming you won't be able to run it on max settings? Come on, man...
a guy with the beta is running at about 20-30 FPS on VERY HIGH settings. he has 2 8800GTX's and a quad extreme i believe.lespaul1919VERY HIGH is disabled. The highest you can go is high.

this coming from the guy who said there were only low settings. here are his exact words. and a screen. which is AMAZING.
"Screenshots: (1920x1200, Very High settings, 8xAA)"
his CPU/GPU: "QX6700 @ Stock Speed (WC needed) ,EVGA 8800 GTX SLi"
his FPS: "I was getting 40s indoors, 20 to 30 outside."
ALL COPY/PASTE. HIS EXACT WORDS.

relax, all max means is more slightly better AA and AF
(Random assorted irrelevant crap)lespaul1919Very High/ ultra high IS disabled and there is no antialiasing. You = wrong. (Beta 1)
As RTSes get better and online on consoles get better, PC gaming will be dropped like a rock. Which would mean less people getting games with a torrent programs and more money for developers
Modded 360s are being banned from XBL and next they will turn off consoles with illegal games in them
I bid fairwell to PC gaming
The Beta is not representive of final performance, how many times do we have to say it?dgsag
People are going nuts on the Crysis forums cause the game loads so slow and they can't play it on their systems, console gamers don't worry about stuff like that do they?

I guess you have never heard of how a beta works.

I guess you didn't know that PC games are made on computers so why are they having problems playing on computers?
I rest my case
thisis beta 2 :|lespaul1919Well in that case, its obvious that there are going to be optimization issues in betas, especially with SLI and dual core systems. The optimization isn't in place, and you can bet they aren't using the latest and greatest build of the game. Its only natural it would be a little sluggish.
