I dont know about you guys but I find the crysis nanosuite as much more impressive and scary in a sense that as you look at it you know that it looks liek something taht CAN exist in real life...

Master Chief looks decent but too fantasy/power rangers/ cartoon robot for my taste ....

Are we talking about looks and personality, or actual ability and technology?

Nomad wins the 1st.

Master Chief the 2nd.

In looks alone of course the Nanosuit wins...

Looks only don't make a great game, hell just look at Gordon Freeman.

Visually, I think Crysis nano suit looks more muscular and more itimidating. MC doesn't look like power rangers imo but definitely looks like an action figure.

Both look freakin sweet, MJOLNIR Mk VI looks much more practical though. Nanosuit looks more stealthy than it does combat-y.

I like MJOLNIR more though.

And truth be told Nomad couldn't hold a candle to a covenant Brute or Elite. He would get his arms ripped off and his face melted by a plasma bolt. Then the Grunts would mount his smoldering glob of a head on a pike and use him as a trophy. Even if he had maximum strength, a Brute or Elite would break his arm in an arm wrestle, no question.

Not MC no, no sirrrr.

I dunno, the Nanosuit has so much technology in it... Like how you can go super speed, super strength, heavy armor, and invisible. Thats a lot of tech right there. In terms of Jake Dunn (Nomad) and Master Chief actually ability, welll thats sort of debatable. Dunn is the best marine out there and so is Master Chief soo....

What does Masterchief's armor give him other than a shield that goes down quickly? The Nanosuit has armor(acts exactly like the shield does...), super strength(making you be able to jump 20 feet into the air, punch someone with enough strength to launch them 20 feet, and throw something an extremely long distance), super speed(making you run at high speeds), and cloak(making you invisible). I think that the 2552 tech that Bungie thought up was a bit weak honestly.... I would have expected it to be much better than that.

The MJOLNIR does all of that with the exception of invisibility. All without having to divert power to one function at a time.

With that said the armor in Crysis looks more badass.

The Mark VI vs. Nano Suit?

In an all out damage test the Mark VI would easily take immensley more punishment.

What is the Nano Suit made out of?

Anyone in the Nano Suit couldn't even hurt anyone in a Mark VI: A person in the suit can lift two tons (4,409 pounds) and run at 32 KPH (19.88 MPH). The armor is nearly impervious to standard light weapons.

^^And that is only the Mark I

The protagonist, Jake Dunn, is also capable of being modified, as he wears a military prototype "Nano Muscle Suit." The suit is capable of four modes: armor, strength, speed, and cloak.[9] These modes allow him to absorb and heal damage, lift and throw heavy items and enemies, reload and run faster, and become partially invisible and reduce noise output, respectively.[10] Due to the ability of constantly regenerating health in armor mode, the game will be completely devoid of first aid kits.[11] All of these actions, however, use rechargeable energy reserves that power the suit; energy is recharged most quickly while in armor mode. The suit can be modified in-game to meet the playing sty1e of the player .[10]

Jake Dunn is to me with these abilities on par with Master Chief. The man can stop vehicles coming at him at full speed. He can launch people across the terrain with his sheer power. He can be cloaked and silent. He can absorb damage and has a "Healing Factor" We shall have to play the game to see the final result though.

I think theyre jsut discussing Easthetics, obviously MC would win with Suit's durability, Halo is Unrealistic Science Fiction, while Crysis' Nomad (Jake Dunn) is only just abit stronger than your average human, you are still very vunrable in combat.

The Mark VI allows for nearly all that, save for cloaking, but as stated in Fall of Reach Spartans are experts at not being seen.

shields, and enhances his ability. Namily strength/agility. That being said that armor is as tuff as it gets. Who else can fall from space at comet like speeds, buring at several thousand degrees...hit earth, and get up to fight again

Seriously, who!? Thats a tuff mother right there...

Masterchief's armor has hit a point of being iconic, and easily identifiable. Until the Nanosuite reaches that, there's no comparison.

As far as design goes, I like the Nanosuite more, but that's just me.

Mark I Prototype Exoskeleton

The Mark I battle suits were one of the Navy's first experiments with powered exoskeletons. The Mark I battle armors were bulky exoskeletons that improved strength and stamina of the user's muscles. A person in the suit can lift two tons (4,409 pounds) and run at 32 KPH (19.88 MPH). The armor is nearly impervious to standard light weapons.

Thats the mark I

The nanosuit looks awesome in game (with all of the individual muscles and such), so from a technical standpoint the nanosuit wins. The mark V/VI armour of the Master Chief is truelly iconic, so for coolness probably the chief.

Should you really have to ask? Imagine everyone running around at 60 km/h in game (mark vi speeds)...

You can't carry around anything other than weapons/equipment... You can flip it instead.

Depends... in setting material or actual in-game. I mean...by setting MC suit is better, but in-game it's simply not capable of performing at the level of Nanosuit from Crysis. We might hear how bad-ass MC is because of the armor, but it's never visible when you're playing.

It also has the ability to link up with various AIs to strategically control reflex timing and so forth. Also the reflective shielding it has can be adjusted for each individual part of the body.

In other words, on the ground the Chief has the shielding on his boot soles set low for maximum traction, in zero G, he sets it to max. There are several other nuances the armor has but I don't want to type forever.
