Crysis campaign is more bada** campaign than Halo, watch some vids for once. Crysis has Online Multiplayer up to 32 players Online and has mods. Halo 3 may seem go to you because Consoles don't really get anything really that good.

Agreed...Halo 3 all the way. I can't wait for the thousands of hours of multiplayer goodness over the next few years with Halo 3.

You're both wrong. Neither of you know how good the campaign gameplay is because neither game is even out yet.

I was beginning to look forward to Halo 3, until I watched the PAX versus video. It was shades of Quake Arena. 0_o Jump pads, BFG, laser gun, etc. The flame grenade was the only reaaaallly unique weapon I saw.Vandalvideo

and Im pretty sure forge doesnt let you edit terrain, create content from scratch, program AI, and just in general do everything the developers can (it is what they use to make the game)

Um, I wouldn't call moving some vehicles and barrels around a map "editing."

I hate these types of threads because they bring out the worst in people. Both will be great, but I personally will probably enjoy Crysis more. That's not to say Halo 3 sucks, but I will like Crysis more. Oh and KenKittyragi, Halo 3 and Crysis are equals in terms of fun. Just different types of fun.

The Halo 2 maps weren't linear, neither were the beta maps. Plus Halo 3 will have the new map sandtrap, biggest map ever in the Halo universe. I will do a 8 vs 8 match of all banshess and hornets for some serious air battles

It's 1 vs 1 on an indoor map. I'd hardly pass judgement on the multiplayer based on that. :?

No it does't.

It's only my opinion that it will be more fun to be able to aid my team mates by changing there spawn points, vehicles spawns, ammo count, ect. WHILE they play.

You may suffer since I have a feeling you dont own a 360 to play Halo 3 and I have that hermit sense pulling me towards the definition that you only have an intergrated or a very old graphics card in your prebuilt pc.

You are mistaken. You are talking about a Crysis level maker/editor. That's awesome. Halo does not have that however. Forge is a game. You host a match and play normally, and a player can become a monitor and actively edit the weapons, vehicles, teleporters, crates, fusion cores, whatever while you play. You can also edit spawn points, place things like checkpoints, stuff like that. If you make something you like you can save it to play again.

YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HALO 3 CAMPAIGN BEING LINEAR! :lol: The game is going to be very open ended and have huge draw distances (16 km, 10 miles I believe)

a reason to choose something over another is that the thing has an advantage. forge is not one of them. four player co-op is.

Frankie said they actually have. Apparently you cant lunge as far as you could in Halo 2, and with the new battery you can get a maximum of ten kills before it's depleted, assuming you kill everyone with one lunge. If you use the multiple melee strikes it's even less.

Still... i hated the sword on Halo 2. I hope they fix that stuff. :(

this is where your point fails. in crysis, you have the option to play 4 on 4, or if 16 vs 16 is your thing, you have the option to do that as well.

Don't Worry, you will run atleast High DX9 settings, probably Ultra-High DX9. Watch this video and you will see what your rig be able to either be just below or at. That video is the Ultra-High Dx9 settings. If you run at High, it will look slightly worse than that.
