most of those pic crysis looks better althought some of them ps3 shots look better than crysis but crysis has alot more physics that all those game that was showed, which can't be seen on a screen. and those games don't have a destructable environmant
Wow all 3 games look awsome, and you know MGS4 is going to look like that because Kojima always shows in-game footage, but Crysis wins, it looks so damn good. Although Unfortune and MGS4 have a bit of the same style and may come close in some areas.
No, seriously though. The graphics are basically the same. For MGS 4 the only difference is that the screenshots are much much blurrier and have a greenish/brownish/yellowish cover on it, and for the Naughty Dog Project, the only difference is that the screen shots are much, much blurrier.
BTW crysis OWNS!!!! I'm buying a gaming PC to take to college for it!
First of all, you're comparing NON-GAMEPLAY of MGS 4 to gameplay in Crysis. Everybody will laugh at the crappy graphics of MGS 4 gameplay when it comes out. As for Uncharted...well, Crysis has better visuals and realism, but Uncharted DEFINITELY has better color.
Although I love the MGS series, I say Crysis wins since it's using DX10. People haven't learned how to use OpenGL 2 properly yet. Not even PC OpenGL developers. gnutux
bloody hell.....crysis is really something else. its one of those games that make u feel a little less ill after spending €1000 on a processor and €600 on a graphics card :P. i cant wait to see it in motion. im just going to walk into leaves and pushes all day.....to hell with the mission objective :P. seriously though, i just hope the gameplay hold up as well. farcry had both excellent gameplay and graphics so i expect this will be the same.
Some of the PS3 shots looked almost as good as Crysis; but none of them looked better. Especially the Uncharted Drake shots, that comparison should've never been done.
Crysis.Crysis and Project Progressive both have the best graphics of any game.;)
P.S.-Ive been wondering,whats the first PC game ever to use motion blurr without any mods?Meaning...they are truly implented into the game during developement.

you're overreacting, it's not an abysmal difference, MGS doesn't look like sh*t and it's a f'ing piece of art not only in the visual aspect but also on gameplay and story, we'll see if crysis is a good game or just pretty graphics

I dunno, u need a crap load of money to run Crisis so I would rather play my ps3 games on my 56 inch HDTV. I don't deny that crisis looks great but I just think Metal Gears gameplay and especially storyline will put crisis to shame.
Crysis wins easily in these comparisons in every category. Especially texture resolution..even though the environments in Crysis are dozens and dozens of times larger.
Crysis looks better obviously...but i like the pic with the truck blowing up in MGS4 more than the Crysis one even though technically speaking, Crysis looks a lot better.
I think MGS4 will graphically be superior in the end.

EDIT: There will be superior looking games on consoles, only because games get better looking with age. But MGS 4 and Crysis are coming out at the same time.
