umm no its not. this is a pc version shot...notice the detail in the guys arm and gun and look at your pic again

lol thats not a bullshot. im not bashing mate i have crysis but im just saying far cry 2 on the pc looks better than the shot you posted. here is another from the pc version

the pc version looks miles better than what you posted.

i know crysis looks better i played it just last night! BUT atleast better shots of the PC VERSION to make it fair so we can see just how good far cry 2 looks

Use your head, not even Crysis can get the level of lighting on that Farcry bullshot (well, it can, but with very bad framerate). Teh German site that made the comparisons have a Preview copy of Far Cry and took those non-bullshot screens.

And im not talking about cranking up the options on Crysis menu... Im talking about using CCC to crank up the settings beyond that...

Ok, none of those screens look close to the first screen you posted (look at the arm) and the plants. Also, they are downsized, so they win bonus AA. This just proves that the first screen you posted is a bullshoot :) .

Ok, none of those screens look close to the screen you posted (look at the arm) and the leaves. Also, they are downsized, so they win bonus AA. This just proves that the first screen you posted is a bullshoot :) .

The FC2 pics might not be the best possible, but neither are the Crysis shots.

And at least to me it has been obvious for a long time that FC2 is not even supposed to compete with Crysis in terms of graphics.

that's better, the trees in crysis obviously look better but the rocks in farcry 2 are better and the grasslands too

Yes because Far CRy 2 never really had an approach towards beautiful trees and lush green jungles.It was more towards a realistic sort of approach which in my oppinion they have achieved !
