Looks hermits have a game that won't flop finally
Looks good, I will be getting this with the crysis puter later this year.

Not really a "Game" so much as an expansion. It's much cheaper than regular games and it's only about 5 hours long.
Looks sweet though.
Another win for PC.
9.0 Presentation
The story is a bit overwrought at times, but in Warhead action is more important than words. The atmosphere is better than before, and it's still great to tweak graphics settings in mid-game.
10Graphics
Crysis Warhead raises the bar that its predecessor established while at the same time offering better performance. The visuals remain unmatched.
9.0 Sound
The voice work and sound are on par with the first game, and the driving musical score will make you think Hollywood. 9.5
9.5Gameplay
The gameplay still rewards thinking on your feet, but it ramps up the intensity with a lot more action. Warhead still has the capability to surprise you, too, with some cool sequences.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
The sandbox gameplay and the nanosuit offer plenty of replay value, and the multiplayer is a lot more engaging than before.
overrated just like the first onemingo123
LOL u havnt even played warhead
how can u call it overrated without playing it.
overrated just like the first onemingo123You haven't even played the game, how do you know it's overrated?
Sure makes up for the flop known as Spore.
Im surprised the score really is that good since C: Warhead is just a repackaging of Crysis...

Spore is only a flop score wise. play thegame and you'll see :) (unless of course you HAVE played it and disliked it... then i shall respect this opnion ^^)
Sounds better than the 1st one imo, might actually buy this one considering the price, wasn't on my wish list before these revies, hopefully there will be a mp demo for it tho.
But I won't be expecting a niner from GS now that Ocambo switched teams. GS will prolly have Kevin-V reviewing it and whining about requirements and the lack of achievements.
just read the Eurogamer reviews, looks really cool, even better than I hoped :

Because although Warhead isn't the most time-consuming initial playthrough - it's a side-story rather than a true sequel, after all - it manages to throw in a surprising amount of variety, and, with that, a considerable degree of replayability. It may not take days of your life to complete, but it never asks you to do the same thing twice, and the chances are that, as with the original, each subsequent playthrough will reveal an unexpected side to most of the set-pieces.
....
The original Crysis may have given you the basic tools, but Warhead allows you to really use them, and while its previous titles made it clear that Crytek knew technology like few others, it's this strange off-shoot Warhead that proves it's no slouch when it comes to level design and set-pieces either.

You should care about this game cause because it's gunna be kick ass, with better graphics and better performance.Well, I don't have the first Crysis (cause my system can't run it at the resolution I want), so why would I care about this game? :?
When is Dragon Age and Starcraft 2 coming out. That's all I'm waiting for PC wise. Already have Spore.
blackace
That's kinda what's holding me back too. The original with all the detailed leaves etc. looked like turd if you couldn't crank up the res or AA up. Of course I could afford a upgrade, but when every other game runs just fine I don't really feel like I need it.Well, I don't have the first Crysis (cause my system can't run it at the resolution I want), so why would I care about this game? :?

I wish my PC could run this game
I'm looking at about $300-$400 to get my PC back into shape.... stupid hamster in my PC needs to run faster :P

Aside from the glitches, hackers online, poor optimization, bad story, horrible setting, lame suit, bad gameplay, Yes it was a pretty good game.

Lame suit? I think the nano suit is the coolest feature of the game. Did you even listen or read the review. The reviewer said the game was much better optimized and the action is better than the original Crysis.
