Crytek developing games on the PS3? New GDC expo info!

There have been rumors of Crytek either porting Crysis over to the PS3 or working on a new project entirely.

ps3 can handle crysis engine.

x360 cant unless you can hook up two or three x360's in SLI mode.

Yes to port the engine to consoles, so that other Developers can use it to make console games. Crytek have not mentioned a word about Crysis coming to anything but the PC.

This may change, but all information atm suggests Crysis is PC only.

Crytek's website states that the engine is multi platform, but not the game.

Talk about watered down. :lol: PS3's gpu isn't even as good as the 360 one. :lol:

Its rumored but Crytek has done this before with Far Cry which gives it a good chance that it will happen and EA is publishing the game.

They have plans. They said they had plans for the Wii.

In reality, they are only working on Crysis. Crytek just said this at GDC: "We have all 150 devs working on Crysis right now".

For one thing they can't just port the crysis engine to PS3 cause of Direct X so they prob have to do somthing else.

Dude if a computer that  the specs are like 7900GT,1.5gb of ram and like 2 core cpu can play Crysis in all high in DX9  360 can do that and thensome. If any console has trouble running the crysis engine is the PS3.
