Crytek Seoul's WarFace (PC Exclusive) Beta gameplay

Crytek's first online FPS called Warface is a military shooter in a near future setting. It offers a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek's proprietary CryENGINE®3 game development solution. Warface provides gamers with a constantly updated extensive PVE universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of ****based PVP and will be available for PC. This new Crytek IP is developed by Crytek Kiev and co-produced by Crytek Seoul and Crytek Frankfurt. Warface is supported by a free-to-play business model.

Any way main interest for me is the Mech shown if players can get the oppurtunity to use it in game then I'd find it pretty cool. Also if they allow vehicles.

Crytek Frankfurt (main head) took some part in this but it's mainly Crytek Seoul's and Kiev's game

Well yeah, that, and the on the fly weapon mods, the matling over objects/climbing etc.

They said that that the North American and Europe version will be released in Europe 2012, they want the game to be available to many places as possible so they can get a stable income without using the notorious pay to win system you see in FPS like Combat Arms.

Looks like a CS/COD.I for one can't stand those kinds of games anymore. Hopefully it will have something different going for it.

Uhm it's a multiplayer game how will that play online (if Crytek isn't lazy and has an authentication system like in Battlefield)

It looks like it will be great looking since its on cryengine 3 but I'm not to hyped about it since the gameplay doesn't look like its up to par to the paid modern warefare shooters. I'm defiantly going to try out it once comes out but looking foward to f2p games like Super Monday night combat,Planetside 2, Firefall, and Tribes Ascend alot more especially since they all go against trend of being military shooters about time we got some decent modern sci-fi shooters.DJ_Headshot

As far as Sci-fi goes there is this there was only a short glimpse of it in the trailer with a player firing a RPG at it while his team was fleeing. If you can pilot one of those mechs in-game then it would be pretty sweet. I'm going to try it out and probably play it for a while since it's free to play.

They should of called the game WarCry or something. They have the habit of removing the first I in something with a Y like Crysis or Ryse.

Looks good for a free to play game, but I'm glad I pay for my games.

It looks like old school pc fps meants COD. The shooting mechanic looks like CS/Wolfteam/Alliance of Valiant Arms. Does this game have a release date?

Edit: Just saw that it is f2p; probably why it reminds me of Wolfteam and Alliance of Valiant Arms. Me likey!

If Crysis 2 and CoD had a baby, that would be it.

Crysis 2's multiplayer was terribly boring, and CoD is much worse.

Honestly i'd rather stick to BF3 & MW3...

This doesn't excite me. Sure it's free, but that doesn't change the fact I have a dozen better paid games I'd rather play?

And plus Team Fortress 2 exists, so why play this CODalike when you can play something infinitly more creative. Anyway, they will probably be succesful with this from cash strapped kids

Here is a video of PvE with the players battling the mech, and man Crytek needs to work on their AI those guys found a loop and decided to circle around it and the mech put all its focus into that guy instead the others who were shooting rockets at him............
