CS:S worth the purchase

im posting in here cuz the pc games forum is dead. so should i buy it or not?plz explain whyfootballa27

yes. it is really really hard to get used to. the recoil system is the most hardcore I have ever used. Like, you will get obliterated the first few times you play. But, if you keep playing, youll get used to it. It has great variety. Basically, you can play mods like surf, zombies, etc... Great stuff.

Get Day of Defeat Source instead, better community, better presentation, and more fun. Or, just wait for CS2.BigDaddyPOLO

cs2 isn't even announced yet. So please stop talking like its coming out next month . i saw a interview with the guy who created valve and they dont have plans on making  a cs2 any time this year. the earliest we can see this imaginary game is later 2008 sublime_420-you

sorry. the only guns you can spray and pray is the sub machine guns or the auto-shotgun. the rifles have enough recoil to prevent spray and pray.

Relatively speaking though, CS:S has a pretty decent hitbox compared to other games. Although, 1.6 was tighter, I enjoy source alot.  

To the OP, get the HL2 package, it's pretty cheap, that way you can enjoy DOD:S as well, especially if you enjoy WWII.  

I used to have this game before my idiot brother got me banned and all i can say is HELL YEAH, its like counter strike 1.6 but a million times better. everything is revamped and different, from the guns (same guns but they look a bit different) to the maps to the physics to the character modeling. the graphics are 1000000x times better and its the same with the sound effects. It has some of the most realistic physics ive ever seen in any game along with blood effects. This game OWNS 1.6 ANY day of the week. you can also play with bots offline for practice.army-of_one

depends on the map. Iceworld maybe, but spray & pray doesn't work so well on Aztec or Dust 2.

Even in iceworld, there's a notable advantage of strategy and careful shooting vs. spraying.
