Current consoles = 1080p?

I think the 360 dashboard is still 720p. PS3 XMB has always been 1080p.

^Thanks guys. I have a top of the line 50" plasma, and I cant see any difference when I change settings from 720p to 1080p, so I know the dashboard must be 720p too.... Thats pretty sad, atleast make the dashboard 1080p it shouldn't be that hard right? I cant wait for next genreachrocksman

Many of the AAA+ console games aren't event 720p. Many are sub-HD.

This is true, however it seems more apparently with the high rated 360 titles than the high rated PS3 titles.

It's a damn shame consoles can't do 1080p for all games. One of the many reasons why I love PC.

I think it's pretty safe to say this gen is not the true HD gen.
