Seriously. Jeff has been fired, so what? I mean he was a good staff member and such, but you are all overracting like the world is coming to an end. GameSpot isn't going down. Many people are saying that they are coming to GameSpot mainly for their forums, then why are you whining about the reviews being biased? RELAAAAX people.
If Jeff were let go for coming in drunk and half naked or osmething, then we wouldn't care much. The drama raises in the oddly covered up reasoning behind his firing.

Well most of the contraversy doesn't come from the guy. He was a great reiewer, with a LOT of history on gamespot, but it really comes down to gamespot's review system, and how low they're going. I suggest you look into what is causing the argument before you jump into it.

You can't provide proof for or against it, we are forumers, not detectives. What I do know however is that the ads are gone and gamespot had to take down what looked like a fine review after eidos complained. I also know that gmaespot is keeping amazingly silent about all of this as if the reason Jeff is gone is not one to be proud of.

the standard line is that he was fired over the "tone" of the review. I saw the review and they have a point, but Alex Navarro wasn't fired over his dissing of big rigs
