Cyberpunk 2077 looks more promising than Dark Souls II

Is it me or Cyberpunk 2077 sci fi trailer looks uber awesome and got all of you more pumped up over Dark Souls II? If i'm not wrong Cyberpunk 2077 going to be completely different on sci fi setting, Dark Souls II you know same old dungeon crawling in new setting, more of tough monsters, more difficult hack n slash. Seems PC master race got a awesome upcoming rpg . Hope it releases for PS 3 and Xbox 360 as well lol.

I hope CDP nails the combat for it, that was my only issue with witcher 2 ( and it wasn't that bad). Dark Souls 2 just needs to repeat dark souls with better graphics for me.

I agree, because CDPR is pure win and we need more Cyberpunk games. The way they've been talking about Dark Souls 2 is not reassuring at all. They're moving to a new engine AND want to "expand accessability?" We need gameplay footage asap.

How can you claim one is more promising than the other when you have 0 gameplay info on Cyberpunk?

If it's based on the setting alone, i still prefer Medievel themed games, and Dark Souls does that especially well coupled with an absolute amazing immersion in the game world.

That said i have a huge respect for both companies, and althou i still haven't played the last Deus EX i found the trailer to be absolutely mind blowing with HUGE controversial themes that can plague our future and if Cyberpunk raises those types of themes it can be an amazing game mixing both rpg elements with society topics...

Yeah... but they are expanding onto other platforms, so expect the game to arrive on consoles, if not immidiately, then soon after the PC version...

There are only a few QTEs in TW2 that are mandatory. All the rest are optional

It's a videogame version of a classic RPG IP, and CDPR have revealed some plot info and general design concepts (non-linear, players create their characters, etc).

Its not a lot to go on, but it's something.

We haven't seen gameplay or read any details for either of them, so I think it's a bit too soon to say anything. khoofia_pika

And yeah you need to have something unlocked in the end of the sword skills, forget its name. But it uses adrenaline and when it's full you hit X to kill up to 3 dudes at once

Look I don't hate the game, in fact I loved to follow the story. But hermits are such hypocrites when it comes to TW2. Being released as a PC-exclusive it still had all the features hermits despise in so called consolized titles.

we don't know much about Cyberpunk that's true but tbh I don't really care, I'm already all excited about the game and the setting!

Dark SOuls has like 10.000.000 trillion billion times better gameplay than Witcher 2

Surly from a cinematic point of view i expect Cyberpunk to be the best and will have decent gameplay, but it will be N.O.T.H.I.N.G., i repeat ... NOTHING AT ALL like Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2

Because simply put, there is never going to be games like those ever again, it is too much of a risk and gamers too casual these days

i really dont like that whole medievil setting.

Sci-fi cyberpunk / tech nior, futuristic settings > clubs and shields.

That alone makes it more promising than dark souls

TW2's gameplay isn't perfect, but it's not unbearable. It was enough to keep me going.

But I can fully understand why some hate it
