Dad of War: Ragnarok Possibly delayed

sony seemed to finally give ps5 owners some needed games at the end of this year. since ps5 launched there have only been 2 next gen games... demon souls remastered and returnal. its been pretty brutal in these next gen streets.

however ratchet and clank, horizon forbidden west and god of war were going to save the year for sony....but...

it seems sony's 2021 will be:

returnal
ratchet and clank
resident evil 8
horizon forbidden west
call of duty
sports games

a pretty dismal year at the end of the day.

Fixed... and those are all good games, just not enough of them.

Not at all surprised at this myself. With the goings on of the last year or so it seems delays have become the norm.

First year during a pandemic. It's a bit of a shit take.

Not surprised there’s another game delay, it’s been a slow start for this gen but I am still enjoying the ps5 for now.

Never played it. But I have played Demon's Souls, Miles Morales and Returnal. All are fantastic PS5 first party exclusives. And I'll be sure to cop Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart next month.

Play Halo 1-Reach first. Then play Halo 4 and 5 and have your mind blown by how bad 343 sucks as a developer lol.

Halo Infinite delayed and a possible delay for Dad of Boi: Ragnarok are ok by me. I would rather have complete games released rather than paid beta tests like other games get.

You asked for recommendations so I gave you some. Bungie's Halo games are the pinnacle of the FPS genre as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately 343 Crystal Skulled the IP.

You really should only play 1-Reach and skip 4 and 5 altogether. They will only frustrate and disappoint you.

It wasn't going to make 2021 even when Sony announced it with just a title knowing full well about it. I mean they put out a Death Stranding and TLOU 2 trailer for announcement when both were in a conception state but GoW which is releasing next year doesn't have anything apart from a recycled music and a title on screen.

Stop making conclusions when E3 is just around the corner.

Halo Reach was really boring. Peaked at Halo 3 and dropped. Bungie is over rated too.

In no way was God of War ever coming out in 2021. My reaction to the announcement trailer during the PS5 event ending with "2021" was "there's no way that's coming out in 2021."

The fact there hasn't been a single trailer at all should tell anyone Ragnarok isn't releasing anytime soon much less this year. And besides, it was never given an actual release date, so you really can't say its delay either.

Neither console has any games out yet worth buying the console for. Do you remember when console makers would have been absolutely embarrassed and ashamed over the idea of releasing a console without solid launch titles? Nintendo even delayed the launch of the Gamecube to avoid it.

I don't know why people expected it so soon. Sony is slow at making exclusive games. They rely heavily on third party games. They see no rush because only 10 million, maximum, even care about their best exclusives.

I wonder if Sony ever had the honest intention of releasing GoW:R in 2021, or if it was just something they said to pad the Ps5 lineup. It always seemed incredibly unrealistic.

No problem waiting for a generation to git good and buying a console later on... Early adopters of a generation are professionals at waiting with a new console.

Snap is not a game. People troll Sony exclusives saying how they're like movies, but Snap is not even that. It should've been sold for not more than $4.99 on the app store. Or bundled in for free with Pokemon Go.

I don't think this game was ever coming out this year. I am certain I heard months ago that it is expected 2022. If I had to guess, probably first quarter, maybe February.

I will carry on, but i need to know what the hell BDSP stands for.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the remakes of Diamond and Pearl coming this year. Though I did just realize that the originals are probably older than you lol
