No silly, thats the number of CC: SE PSP Bundles. But yeah, when it came out I played a ton of FF7 for a while, but I found RPGs I greatly prefer to it most notably Grandia (read my review of it to get my thoughts).

oh i will, but you dont know what lucky sevens are? its been such a long time but it has something to do with when your character has 7777 hp. i misread your first post to say 7777.

when i was messing around with emerald weapon coming up with strategies to beat it, i came across lucky sevens. of course i didnt try it but the concept sounded so cool.
if youve got time heres a guide to getting lucky sevens. lucky sevens is where when your hp is 7777 the next battle you enter you will hit for 7777 until the monster dies.

edit: an youve just convinced me to play grandia at least at one point in my life.
[QUOTE="solidte"]It is the prequel to Japan's most loved game, i have no doubt it's going to be No.1 in Japan for a long time.joeblak
Not really, Final Fantasy spin-offs do well but no where near as well as games in the main series do.
Well i never said that, what i did say is that it will be on Japan's top ten selling games in Japan list, it will be No.1 for a long time, probebly more than Monster Hunter Freedom 2 in my opinion.

Japan's most loved game at the moment is actually DQVIII, not FFVII.

No it isn't FFVII has sold like 10 million copies, DQVIII sold a tonne but it is like 4 million copies and it was voted by a Famitsu poll and FFVII came out as No.1

Unlike FF games, SE actually has to release the games on weekends because of the huge amount of absences from work and schools. The game is HUGE in Japan.

PlayStation Portable games that have sold one million copies or more.
Total PlayStation Portable games shipped as of March 2006: 47.3 million.

FFVII is bigger than DQVIII, it has sold double the amount more and has had way more spin-offs than DQVIII, i don't even think DQVIII has a spin-off, maybe one or something i dunno, you can't beat that. DQVIII is a huge game but FFVII is a monster twice it's size.
[QUOTE="VideoGameGuy"]agentfred
Oh...
Well done, you win this time.
well to be fair the DS has sold twice as many...well to be fair the DS has sold twice as many...VideoGameGuy
The PSP has some really bad piracy issues, if it wasn't for all the **** on the PSP game forums who admit to pirating 100+ games maybe Sony could actually support homebrew. :evil:

I'm not sure how much FFVII sold, so I'll take your word for it. Unless you'd like to provide a link. BUT you have to admit that theres no denying how big DQVIII is. I went to the launch of it in Japan, and around Shibuya's shoping center and more in Akihabara (close to Tokyo) it seemed like a damed holiday. My friend also sent me pictures of the launch of Diamond and Pearl and the response was much bigger than what I have seen for CC. I'm not saying that Pokemon is better because of sales, so don't take it the wrong way. DQ is a cultural phenomenon, the orchestras even play songs from the game! Also, spin offs =/= equal success.
