A fair review, I wanted it to be at least AA though, flop but oh well what can you do.

This game will be lucky to score 8 here, me thinks. Anyways looked pretty "meh" after the demo.

regardless of the review I liked the demo, i thought it was pretty cool.

Not the biggest fan of IGN, but that seemed like a fair review. I am guessing the average for this game will probably be in between 7.0 and 8.0 when all is said and done, and that is a good game in my book. Regardless, it is the subject matter that sold me on this game and I am looking forward to it.

It's an ok, I guess it's solidified my purchase to wait till it goes down and borrow it at first.

LMFA I'l get God of war instead but I'll get this when I see a price drop

Average clone game is average clone game.

I'd rather wait of GoW3 and play the real thing.

Lots of people said the demo was not so great I think I'll wait for GoW3 and maybe try this game when it hits the bargain bin.

Will rent for the 360 and save money for God of War 3

i mean, when you watch GoW featurettes the devs say they get inspiration from Devil May Cry, but in the end they made a totally different game. Dante's Inferno though, idk. tsktsk. seeing as they made Dead Space you'd think there'd be so much wow factors in this one. lawl.

I suppose if you played the GOW series this game would qualify on the 7-8 rating. However, if you are one of the people that never played the GOW series, I would bet you would find this game to be a 8.5-9 easily. Reviewers can't give this a game a 9, they would then be forced to give GOWIII a 9.5-10 since we all know it is going to be a better overall game.

Did anyone read the review or just glance at the score?

The reviewer knocks the game for having unoriginal combat.... sorry but there was absolutely nothing special about GoW's combat, it was shallow as all hell.

I'm sick of this GoW Worship that everyone has going on. GoW is fun, entertaining... but its combat is weak, just watch though... it'll score a 9.0 in gameplay even though the gameplay will be the same as GoW I & II and Dantes Inferno.

I wish people had the ability to remove the fanboy goggles, and be honest...

So GoW's combat is amazing and original in what ways exactly? Prior to this gen did you only own a PS2?

1st question is rhetorical... I've played through GoW I & II, fun games for the most part.... but certainly nothing revolutionary when combat is concerned.
