dark souls for the 360 is a good thing, cows!

if dark souls become popular for the 360 that means it'll be a big game in the US since 360 is pretty big in america, and if that happens then more developers would start making games like dark souls because most devs follows whats games are popular in america, like shooters, what do u guys think?

Seems cool to me. Once the Lemmings get a taste they'll buy a PS3 for Demons Souls.

As a PS3 owner, I'm glad its coming out for the 360 so that they can experience what we had in Demon's Souls. I hope it does very well.

I want From Software to be rewarded for breaking the mold and making a game that breaks the rules. Hopefully other developers will be more bold and stop following the same formula and trying to copy other successful games.

I just wish there were a PC version. DS is the only reason I still have my ps3.

I'm glad it isn't on PC. I want justification for my consoles. If I could just buy everything on my PC, then owning a console wouldn't matter.

Dark Souls is going to be an amazing game... I'm almost expecting Gamespot to give it a 9.5.

im happy for 360 owners, im just hoping that they dont complain about the difficulty :P, if your a ps3 owner and your getting dark souls playing through demons souls should be a prerequisit to be able to proceed past the character creator :P

im glad more people get to enjoy the game. however, i dont envision many people buying this game for the 360

The only thing I hate about "Dark Souls" coming to the 360 is the fact that people without XBL will undoubtedly have a difficult time with the game, there were so many instances when I was playing Demon Souls and I desperately needed help since I had no idea what I was doing. And the co-op mode was so helpful (and innovative) that I wanted to keep playing it with people

I can't imagine how lame it would be to play the Demon Souls boss where you fight another user, with just the computer, people need to experience it

Sony dropped the ball on Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. They don't deserve to have it exclusive, they apparently didn't realize what a jewel it was and thought it would fail. Guess it didn't figure into their "gritty shooter" approach. They should have pushed it anyways. Demon's Souls is such a cooler name than "Dark Souls", it's a pity they couldn't use it again.Deathtransit

Yeah, Deathtransit's story is legit. Sony admitted it in an interview. I don't remember with who though.

Dark Souls isn't a sequel to Demon's Souls, which is why Sony has nothing to do with it. It's a new IP according to From. And since you can't copyright titles (it's the law) they can make it sound close to Demon's Souls in order for fans of that game to spot Dark Souls. But it's also not Demon's Souls 2, which avoids any legal issues.

I'm glad they have the 360 base to grow their sales this time around. Games like this are far too rare and From deserves to be rewarded for going against the copy/paste game design the industry has flocked toward.

of course its a good thing, but a potential issue i see is that the 360 community just doesn't seem like the type that will buy too many copies of this kind of game. shooters yes, but hardcore hard as hell jrpg, i have my doubts. and for a game that features a very important online aspect, i get the feeling that the 360 servers will be quite dead by the end of the year. so if you have the choice i highly suggest you get the ps3 version.

I admit I hadn't bothered thinking about that angle, I was annoyed that the 360 was stealing DS players. But I guess, using your logic, it'll be a good thing in the end. More games like Demons Souls can only be a good thing...
