David O Russel Ditches Uncharted Movie

Please lead to cancellation of the Uncharted movie. Leagues of good games turned into bad movies just don't stop these people from making these movies :( and when they say they "love the games" and "are committed to making a great movie out of the game" it all turns into this. The director just ditches the movie.

Wow. There is no way in hell Nathan Fillion is a better actor than Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg as done movies like the Fighter and the Departed and you are comparing him to Nathon Fillion. Nathan Fillion isn't even in the same universe as Wahlberg when it comes to acting.

Fillion is good in some of his roles, but Wahlberg with Russell directing > anything Fillion has done by far, even though I'm a fan of Fillions work for the most part. Without Russell, well, that's a whole other story.

Fillion ftw. Mark Wahlberg has more connections, but he's completely wooden. He knows how to look intense, but other than that, he does nothing for me. Fillion was fantastic in Firefly and even the season finale of Castle a few weeks back, great acting.

And also, where is this hate on TV actors coming from? It was a funny joke when they said it on Arrested Development, but Battlestar Galactica was on Syfy and tbh that show has better acting than a ton of Hollywood films. Same goes for Breaking Bad and the rest of AMC's original series.

It's a complete waste of time trying to make tha a film franchise in the first place since it basically is Romancing the Stone and Raiders anyway. It's not even different enough from those movies to make people who aren't into to games, interested. It should stay in the medium that it's made for.

Naughty Dog should just put all the cutscenes together, and animate anything story-wise from gameplay and make a cinematic movie. That way I can watch it with someone like my dad, who doesn't play games, but would enjoy the story.

ND wasnt even feeling the movie for a few months now.......they werent exactly thrilled for awhile

My choice for Nathan Drake would be Chris Evans or Bradley Cooper. I would hate to seeNathan Fillion in the role of Drake.

No, Mark Wahlber is a reason those movies are great. Those movies are some of the best of the past 10 years and Mark Wahlberg is a reason they are great. It has nothing to do with popularity. Wahlberg is a more expirience actor.

I know the Max Payne movie was terrible. That is primarily becuase the way a videogame translates into a movie. They usually don't turn out very good. Wahlberg can play a funnier less serious role.Watch I heart huckabees, he is absolutly hilarious in that movie.
