Day 1 purchases

I know this is a common question in the forums but with new trailers and previews I know you must be changing your mind on some games

Mines are Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock 2, Assasins Creed 2, Final Fantasy 13, Battle field Bad Company 2, maybe Uncharted 2

For October: Uncharted 2 and maybe Borderlands

For November: God of War Collection since I never played the 2nd God of War game plus it's in 720p

For December: Perfect Dark

Uncharted 2

Forza 3

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

Though Demon's Souls and Brutal Legend are also very tempting...

For the rest of the year: Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, Borderlands, Ratchet and Clank, Dragon Age: Origins, God of War Collection, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. For next year definitely, 100% getting FFXIII on its release as well. Same with Tales of Graces and Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold.

There are a few titles I'm waiting for until the holidays come around such as Brutal Legend and A Boy and His Blob.

As far as this year goes.

Uncharted 2

This month will be uncharted 2, brutal legend(both release on same day, why god why!), and borderlands the week after. I would say ratchet and clank but i really do not have time for the first three games i listed, adding another would not help me at all. So i think i will wait on ratchet and clank, and assassians creed untill the end of the year or possibly next year. On the other hand the God of War collection can not be passed up, so i will get that one day one aswell.

To keep this list Short, I'm only going to talk about 2009's games.

I'm just curious because you import a lot of titles. Can you read/understand Japanese? Or do you just import the games to play them and worry about the story when the American versions releases? I'd be importing stuff too, but story and understanding the menus/text is important to me so I usually skip on imports.

I've probably asked you this already :P

Lol I always say I'm gonna day 1 purchase a game, but the only games I have ever purchased day 1 are Halo 2, Mario Kart Double Dash, and Halo 3.

I dont know A LICK of Japanese. I import alot but only for games Im sure will get a translated FAQ, games Im sure are Import friendly or games that look so damn good I wouldnt mind guessing and wandering around aimlessly until I proceed.

3D dot game heroes is an action RPG, a fast moving game, so chances are itll be short and I may not be guessing around too much. Plus Im sure people at gamefaqs will help me if anything :P

Oh, and I always use FAQs to understand the story in my imports ;)

Holy Crap! I just realised that the only games I want day one this year are Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank! Then in 2010 all I really want is Slinter Cell and Resistance 3! God damn with both a Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog game this year looks like I'm just buying games that get AAA for next year. Bioshock 2, please be really really good!

Its extremely rare that I purchase a game day one. The only one I can think of is perhaps Machinarium once I try out the demo. If I can find a friend or two to join me, Borderlands might be there too.

Brutal Legend

Assassins Creed 2 loved 1 and 2 should be a good improvement. Uncharted 2, again loved the first and apparently this one is a massive improvement over the first. Heavy Rain F**K YEAH!!!
