Their's plenty of 3rd party exclusives for the PS3 and then some for 360, but none that would be competition in the mainstream. Trinity Universe, dance central, etc.Kokuro_Kun
Just not the sort of 3rd party titles that people would hold up as adoption justifications.
People hold up franchises like Killzone and Gears of War as reasons their platform is great, because those games are big budget blockbusters; exclusive to those platforms. But they were created and kept exclusive by 1st party money, they wouldn't have existed in their current state without it. Without 1st party funding, they may have very well been cross platform titles today; or maybe even not exist at all.
Therefore I judge their exclusivity as determining the success and popularity of a platform as being null.
It doesn't change that that those games exist as exclusives and people can still enjoy them. But if someone is going to hold up a bunch of exclusive games as evidence that their platform is doing better than another, the context of them being exclusive comes into question. If I were to win the lottery and spend it on a high end PC exclusive, not a single person here would accept that as evidence of PC being able to attract such games.
