Its hard to improve upon Perfection.... :) If you wana see a series thats really dead in the water then one needn't look beyond Tekken.... And while we're at it, might aswell throw in Soul Calibur.

If we are talking about fighters, DOA is about as shallow as they come. There is a reason why you don't hear about these games being big attractions at event's like EVO and such.

Its got a lower skill ceiling and simpler commands, but that doesn't make it shallower, on the contrary... It actually gives it more depth (Which is measured by the distanace between the Skill Ceiling and the skill floor, not the number of buttons or how fast you have to press them) . Its almost Ideal for a controller.

Update: So, apparently, online mode is only coming somewhere between 3 months after launch.

The funny part about reading this is that Arc System Works is releasing BlazBlue CS Extend on PC for the first time, and it'll have online, right after their last 2 ports (Guilty Gear and BlazBlue CT), didn't have it.

Looks like we'll have to wait for DOA6 for it.

Keep your meltdowns to a minimum in this thread dot boy. DOA is awesome. Not as good as Virtua Fighter or Soul Calibur, but better then many of the other weak fighting games.

PC version will not have online till 3 months later...

I really don't know how herms can live playing second rate ports of multiplats on PC.

Its miles better than Soul Calibur and just as good as VF, so good infact that they decided to add 4 VF Characters. :) and I must say the DoA Fight Engine really suits Pai Chan's stlye.
