It took me 17 hours to finish it on hard difficulty and I was very grateful that the last fight wasn't that overly and cheaply difficult, like in Ninja Gaiden 2, for example, because that very often puts off. But I know what you mean, Dead Space lacked memorable main antagonist, System Shock had SHODAN.Salt_The_Fries
is there a great leap on difficulty on the hardest mode, the mode you unlock when you finish the game?

I didn't try it. I thought that hard mode was hard enough.[QUOTE="loeil"][QUOTE="Salt_The_Fries"]It took me 17 hours to finish it on hard difficulty and I was very grateful that the last fight wasn't that overly and cheaply difficult, like in Ninja Gaiden 2, for example, because that very often puts off. I didn't try it. I thought that hard mode was hard enough.i think im gonna try. By starting with your inventory and your weapons upgraded and by knowing the game, it might be possible to beat it on that difficulty
Nah, Resistance 2 has the easiest final boss ever!BioShockOwnzno way
in gears 2 its almost imposibe to die unless you let it kill you
they were both very easy tho

It's impossible to die in the R2 last boss, unless the player is a total.... errr, you understand.
I doubt it's easier than Guilty Spark or the Lambent Brumak.vashkey
its true that the brumak at the end of geow2 was easy, but the game itself was pretty easy. dead space was hard so i thought of a great final battle. I had more problem with the hordes of monsters 5 minutes before the final battle than with it

i dont understand why devs vreate dull final battle like that. Its no more fun when its too hard, but theres a middle

i agree that they were both stupidly easy but gears wasmore easy and heres whyon resistance 2 you just run around in a circle and shoot small glowing targets
gears 2 you just stand still and shoot a big target thats is imposible to miss
im not sure what the point of arguing about this is seeing that they are both bad

They were both dumb easy. And on the same scale of dumb easy, too. Also, I don't mind it. Usually, I don't want a challenge. Give me the casual sissy new PoP that you never can die in, and I'm a happy camper.
The boss fight was very easy . But so was RE4's. I think after playing the game (which was just right as far as difficulty) they wanted a fun 'eye-popper' boss fight.TREAL_SinceR4's last boss wasn't that easy... He killed me a couple of times :(, but there were harder bosses in the game The village chief was pretty hard imo

I hated RE4's final boss. It was a giant spider how freaking generic can you get. It was likeing watching the movie IT all over a again. A fun ride only to be disapointed when you see what the main bad guy really is.
It was pretty easy, but then again I'm kind of glad it wasn't insanely difficult.king23_Yeah.It was still a really fun and climactic final battle regardless.
The gears "boss" wasnt really a boss, the only bosses Gears had was the leviathan and Skorge twice (once on foot, once on the Hydra). The Hydra fight was the RAAM equivalent, though not nearly as hard even on Insane. The brumak sequence wasnt a boss at all..hopesfall2ownit was just a way to move the story without a cutscene.

i loved it when it pulled you up and you had to shoot it upside downSonir77Am I the only one who thought that was REALLY hard to do? Because the aiming gets all screwed up and if you don't shoot all of those bulbs in time, he eats you! But the rest of the fight wasn't really hard...but not really super-easy either.
I finished the game today and it was an incredible ride, one of my best game ever. This is so nice that i cant wait for a sequel. I bought the movie prequel for this game and it was gory and scary too. In the final it tooks me about 9 hours to complete the game on the 360 and i was eager to see the final battle i was sort of disapointed. It was a huge monster with tentacles. I had to avoid being hit by the tentacles and shoot at some yellow bulbs. The fight was dull, with no challenge. The final boss didnt even manage to hit me, not once. Anyway after killing the beast i thought of a great final cutscene... no nothing special. i felt like i was letdown. A superb game need a superb end not something like that. Anyway i gave it 9 out of 10, but the end let me with a bad taste in my mouth.loeilYou gotta admit though, that it got a bit tougher when that thing actually grabbed you.
Fallout 3 had the easiest final "boss". You know it is a problem when even the two Enclave cronies guarding him are more formidable than him.....
Now it could of had been way better if a certain giant defender of democracy turned on you....
Don't ever say that! Liberty Prime stands for all that is righteous and free in the world, he would NEVER turn on you. Now say the pledge of allegiance over and over again until you push that thought from your mind FOREVERFallout 3 had the easiest final "boss".
