I went at 9:30 on Saturday morning when the deal started. Sweet jesus the store was insanely busy, full of parents and grandparents with lists, all shoving each other back and forth trying to get access to the Wii wall of games. Then there were other, crazed parents, wild-eyed, hair flying in every directly, hurriedly flipping through the bins of bargain PS2 games that had been set in the aisles of the main store to satiate the masses. Kids crying and screaming, pointing at 'that Halo game' that they wanted, and no, they weren't going to take Catz on the DS as a substitute.
In all that, the 360 and PS3 sections were surprisingly empty - both of people, and of games. I realize that the store caters to kids first and foremost, but good god. A couple of copies of Gears 2, Resistance 2, one copy of Fable II, a bunch of new Prince of Persia and Singstar Abbas, and then a bunch of random crap priced too high.
Don't expect to find what you want, regardless of when you get there. I didn't find a single thing on my list (Valkyria Chronicles, Chrono Trigger, TWEWY, Banjo Kazooie, etc). I ended up buying GT5P, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and the AC/DC Track Pack, which came out to about $80. I wanted most of those before, just thought they were overpriced.
