Dear God.. another exploit in MW2...

Well was trying to play some BFBC2 but the servers are junk tonight so I decide to play some MW2.. first game.. everyone is going about 500 mph.. finish it.. second game (new lobby, I don't like participating in this stuff) and its the same thing. My son is also playing and he said the same thing happened to him.

As much as I like this game, its just so frustrating all these hacks/exploits/glitches. IW dropped the ball on this one.

BTW, this was 360 version. Can anyone confirm the same situation on PS3 or PC?

Yeah, just found out its older than I thought, I guess I have just been lucky to not get into them.

MW2 really is horrible. lol All these exploits? I stopped playing it because it got old fast. Especially once I realized how overrated it truly is. CoD4 is the superior game in every category other than graphics and connection stability.Messiahbolical-

After playing my roommates copy for about 4 hours a few weeks ago and reading about all of these glitches/exploits, I am very glad I stuck to my guns and didn't buy this game.

Saved me money for BC2.

Found the camapaign in MW2 boring and the multiplayer extremely poorly executed. Anyone here actually happy with their purchase?

No hacks available on the PS3 so it doesn't happen.

I havnt played modern warfare in awhile, its just not that good of a game imo. COD gets borign fast for me, but Team Fortress2 on PC gets better all the time year after year, its the king onlien game imo.

Heh i stopped playing MW2 after i got into the third string of MAG betas, then i went straight into the public beta and the tourament, and finally the full game! Now im playing some badcompany 2, i highley reccommend it for anyone that has 360, ps3 or pc.

Have not seen such a thing on the PC. Slightly off topic, but I think this game gets a lot of undeserved hate; it has become a sort of de facto game to bash on here.

I'm so glad I skipped MW2 and got BC2(servers work now though they can be down at times), I don't like the sound of these problems, and besides, COD4 was the last decent COD anyways.:P

I was. There are certainly aspects of the game that I strongly disliked (nonsensical plot, no PC-centric features ala CoD4), but on whole I found it to be an enjoyable title. I got over eighty hours out of the online to this point, and I still play it from time to time, albeit not as regularly. I understand why the game is disliked, but it is villified to the point where one would expect it holds no redeeming virtue on these forums, which I think to be untrue. It is simple, mindless fun.

I would agree that it is overrated; it is certainly not the be all and end all that your average gamer would have you believe. I would also assert that it is underrated, by people on forums like this (not yourself, but others, who blindly bash it because that is the status quo. I myself was guilty of this at times).

yes some are fickle.... however.. couldnt it be possible that these gamers you speak of are actually different people?

i never see such thing in MW2's MP on ps3.

I'll admit, I bash it for the wrong reasons at times as well, though I try to be intelligent about it when I do so. And I agree with you, it does get a lot more hate than it deserves, but to me, it is legitimately a bad/mediocre game. And they wont be patching it due to the hubub that is going on in the IW HQ.

super speed glitch has been around awhile its not brand new.

It's not as bad as the care package glitch... ugh that **** got annoying fast.
