We now MGS4 is wicked good with its perfect score. BUT most people are talking about it like it's a landmark in gaming history. I ask you this question, WHAT IS REVOLUTIONIZING? Or basically WHAT MAKES IT SUCH A STAND OUT GAME?

That's two questions but meh. I have played it, and call me a fanboy but it don't see a perfect ten YET.

I also beleive that the PS3 can't DESTROY the 360 becuase of this one game, or the few other that are coming out. After a couple of years after the PS3 release it has finally left its mark, but it won't be enough. If the 360 trucks along liek it has for the past couple of years, well the PS3 can have MGS4 and well........ get lost int he dust.

why is it good? it perfectly ties up all the plots in the MGS saga perfectly, & incorporates stealth with fun gunplay. the cinematics & voice acting are also top notch, no other game this gen comes close. (except for GTAlV.) it's the perfect end to a perfect saga.GUNpoint_

Ugh you had me sold, then you went and said "Except for GTA4" ... no now my expectations of MGS4 have dropped.

GTA4 was far from PRIME in its own franchise ... let alone the genre.

Now im expecting MGS4 to be far from perfect.

It is not confusing if you have played past games. Seeing as GT seems to be awful at everything and they have a habit of embarassing themselves,I wouldn't be surpirsed if they only played Snake Eater.
