Define KIDDY?

Ah, "Kiddy". The last refuge for people trying to bash Nintendo and failing at every other attempt.

So! To those of you that still use the term (however ignorant and hypocritical it may be), I want you to explain to me what it means.

What exactly is "Kiddy"? Please, define it for me.

It has sold thousands upon thousands.

Kiddy = not intended for a mature audience; childish; young children, or intended for young children. 

Nintendo lacks a significant amount of games intended for a mature audience, because it is generally aiming for families, casual gamers and children for its console demographic.  It's not a bad thing, and it makes the company lots of money, but its lack of power and GENERALLY childish orientation make it easy for owners of more adult-oriented systems to mock. Personally, I think it's pretty fun stuff, but yeah, it's mostly for little kids.

I dont want to define "kiddy"...BUT...I will say im 35 and dont need anyone telling me what I should and shouldnt play. And I have people I work with that say videogames as a whole are "kiddy" no matter what they portray in them. So really "kiddy" is however each person sees it.

In System Wars Kiddy is a term used by anti nintendo fanboys to bash nintendo.
