When do you win the system war? Most consoles sold? Most fans? Highest average in the top 100 on reviewsites? Most people spamming about your piece of hardware in system wars on gamespot? If's latter Nintendo is doing pretty good I guess.Jelle87
I love how you ignore the "quality of titles" as a category for judging winners.

Bolded areas are about the same meaning don't you think?
i suppose its when we can see one console pulling ahead of the others significantly, with no chance of the others coming back, and selling lots and lots of games on that system. eg it was clear that the PS2 had won a couple of years before that gen ended.
i think this gen its going to come right down to the wire. i dont think were going to see any dominant console like we did with the PS1 and 2. the competition have gotten there act together since then.Â
in a perfect world it would be on the quality of the games released over the consoles life but there is no fact there, just opinion. so basing victory on that, no victory could ever really be claimed.

Either way, quality of titles is all opinion, so it would always be disputed. In the end, sales are the one constant that cannot be argued.Â

I had to re-read that to see if I knew what he meant
I have no idea what he refers to by top 100 in conjuction with a high average. If he had said a high average of titles appearing in the most popular review sites. Maybe I would have seen it.
Finally someone who agrees with me!!! :Di suppose its when we can see one console pulling ahead of the others significantly, with no chance of the others coming back, and selling lots and lots of games on that system. eg it was clear that the PS2 had won a couple of years before that gen ended.

It was a little unclear.Â
