Describe what you think of this gen so far with a sentence or two.

This Gen = Flipped over on it's side like a Screaming Elephant on crack, foaming at the mouth being stabbed with Fig newtons and hotdogs.

Wii the Ultimate Disruptor. fugged everything up.:lol:

before this gen even began 2 years back everyone thought the PS3 was going to simply CRUSH the Competition. And Wii will be dead last in terms of sales....

My My how the tables have turned.

PS3 is a Joke, Dead Last

And Wii is the God of NPD.

Loaded with disappointing game delays.

Dissapointing.

Oblivion so far. Other than that same as last gen with nicer looking games and more games that the unreal engine just doesn't suit (was once refered to as the/a dark engine by a developer, may have been Square Enix? ). Leave it to Epic anyway, they seem to be the only peeps who yeild impressive results.

Only GT5 prologue, MGS4, Halo 3, Gears 2/3? (I don't think they will have half of the impact the first had if they do get made. I would prefer a new game idea to gears 2 and 3), FF13 potentially, GTA IV, and some gamesfor the wii g's at the other end of the table.

Other than that, this gen should be a sweep under the carpet job, and Sony should actually try and push for power again, but evened out, and not just a CPU. MS should try and release reliable hardware, and Nintendo should start attempting to win their audiences back rather than cash in on cheap (but overpriced) hardware.

Warhawk = fun

Heavenly Sword = incredible epic

360 = broken

Under-whelming.

It better improve.

Best Gen in my 26 years of gaming and I started at 16, though the Sega Saturn is still very close for some of the best games I've played.

How about one word?

Expensive.

I agree. Given all of the inconsistencies that the big 3 have had, there has been one overriding constant and that is a flood of game delays.

There will doubtlessly be lots of bitter PS3 and Wii owners weeping about how terrible this gen is, but I can honestly say that the 360 has reinvigorated my love of gaming, and that comes from a true VETERAN gamer who found the orignal xbox Hillarious.

PS3 just needs time.

How about 3?

The best Xbox 360 and PS3 games are on the PC and a lot more besides

The Wii still has no third party support

The Ds is the only truly great machine this gen

Unimpressive. It's the same thing as last gen just better looking except for the Wii.

You know 360 and PS3 will be more of the same throughout this gen the only difference will be the visuals.

The wii is disapointing because Nintendo is the only one taking development for the system seriously while third parties continue to release bad ports of bad PS2 games and complain because they sell badly using them as a bench mark for how 3rdparty games don't sell on Nintendo systems. Hopefully the fact that the Wii has more 3rd party million sellers than PS3 and the success of hardcore games like RE4 and MP3 will wake up some 3rd party developers.

ive spent more time playing my rather outdated pc than my 360 or wii this gen

not saying much for this gen :x

Young.

The only good systems are Xbox360 and Nintendo DS Lite, and that's only because they've been out the longest.

360- most games, least reliable console, get it insured

PS3- most expensive, not so many games, wait a bit longer if you want to get it

Wii- least amount of games worthy of purchase, console isdisappearing of the shelveslike cake in a fat camp, it's cheap

Overall- so far things are not looking great for anyone
