Destiny 2: You in or out

Sup folks,

I was curious as to how interested are yall about the game?

I played Destiny 1 and found it to be fun for the first 20 levels then take a steep fall off of the cliff of fun after that. I can't get into the grinding of the game after level 20 to care to keep playing. For an MMO it just felt empty and not very interesting.

I find it incredible...

How activision keeps making games with billion dollar budgets that do not interest me in the slightest.

Open-mined, but not high on my list. The E3 demo does look very pretty and well-optimized, but I still have doubts about the meat of the game.

I'm thinking out for now but I'll keep an eye on how it fairs. Never played the first one though.

Couldn't be any more in. I love the first, and I'm pretty hyped.

Tried the first one. Did nothing for me. New one looks like it has an actual story so that's a plus. But the Marketing alliance with Sony that continues to crap on Xbox players still does not sit right with me. Even though they are not really a big deal like certain weapons or lame raids here and there still irks me. That and every other dev stating there is no reason X can't run it at 60fps.

I am sitting this one out as well unless it is truly one of the best of all time.

I'm going to try the beta but it's looking like I'm out. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first game. Probably put over 200 hours into it but it's looking like I already got my fill for the entire franchise. I am basing this on the fact that Destiny 2 looks like a straight up expansion pack and nothing like a stand alone game.

I'm reluctantly in. I spent a few hundred hours across two characters and had fun playing with friends. The problems I had were the lack of story presentation and the year one gear/weapon nerf. D2 appears to have fixed the lack of story and we'll see what happens with the hard earned gear this time.

Depends how good the SP is... if it's anything like D1, I'm out.

The first one was crap. I wouldn't play the second one even if it was given to me for free.

I played the first one for 3 hours, never touched it again, won't bother with the second one.

In, most likely, I enjoyed my time with the last game. It's horribly addictive.

I will get it for PC, i had both PC and Ps4 version pre-ordered but cancelled the Ps4 version few days ago, felt stupid buy 2 of same game. I been playing Destiny 1 for 1-2months now and while it is amazing in beginning it get repetitive do different quests in same zones, + all grinding.

Defenitly in, loved the first game even with some of it's short comings.

Definitely out. The last game was beyond mediocre, this one looks almost identical. Destiny is a trash franchise IMO.

Yes definitely, just probably not at launch. I've still got the Taken King to go through, I'm not in a hurry. Despite its numerous shortcomings, the first game excelled in 1 aspect for me and that is the space adventuring one, PVE, loved that stuff. PVP I tried and never really liked it as much, but the PVE missions I had a ton of fun with. I felt like an adventurer in space, had my own ship, etc Gameplay is pretty solid overall, solo or with randoms I enjoyed my time with the first game greatly and will surely get the sequel at some point.

I am what a lot of Destiny players would call a sweaty player who did everything and more in the game, 300+ raid finishes, 100+ lighthouse wins, 1.8 overall crucible kd, 2000 elo, etc so yep I sure am getting destiny 2 day 1!

I have a large clan that I play and chat with on a daily basis so I'm ready! Plus this is the game that grew my YouTube channel so it's only natural I'm getting the sequel

Day 1. Destiny is my go to fps this gen.

Probably out. Didn't hate the first one, but just wasn't really my thing.

Just now checking out the first one. Its pretty decent. Might lost interest like the TC. So many other first person shooters are 60 fps, playing one locked at 30 fps takes a few minutes to adjust.
