I didn't pre-order this game, so I am not in.

I am looking forward to the inevitable Digital Foundry beta comparison though.

Comparing betas....wow is that stupid.

They do it with demo's now, so I bet money they will do it with this. They love to stir the pot.

I read it'll be out on Playstation systems beginning of July then out on Xbox systems the end of July. I can't believe some Sony fans were boasting about getting this beta during E3 lol. Seems like 360/XO combined will have the most players so Bungie needed extra time for that stress test.

After the playing Destiny with the Alpha on PS4, I lost all interest in the game. Competent, but not for me. I also know the Destiny Beta test will be available first on PS but it's nice that Xboxers will also have access at a later date (although we already knew that).

Also, Bungie already stated their goal was parity across PS360,Xbone, PS4 so there is no real incentive to worry about a breakdown, especially on a Beta.

This article says July 17th for Playstation...so maybe 2 weeks after for Xbox.

this game will sell a lot better on ps4 than it does on xbox guaranteed. they are going to advertise the shit out of it, ps4 contributed to something like 45% of watchdogs sales, shows what advertising can do

I mean you're not wrong. But then again most of what goes on in SW is stupid. Last gen lems held multiplats that were better by a few frames per second. That's the way SW is.

The game is coming out in two months, and it has to be licensed, printed and shipped. What about the graphics do you think is going to be changed?

I'm pretty disappointed at this point because I did pre order, have to verify my account with Bungie then input the beta code. But its been a week and two attempts and I never get the email from bungie to verify my account. Cant join the beta until I do.

not much besides minor stuff that comes down to staring at the screen to see it. Then again beta can have their settings turned down on purpose. Especially with this game being online required they can literally do whatever they want up to the day it's released and just upload a patch.

Either way the game is incomplete and in no way should be compared to ANYTHING

I could swear it was reported weeks ago that ps owners just got 4 extra days before xbox owners got in and that was literally it.

well ps4 does have a 2-3m give or take systems sold lead. so they better have more sold on their system

It's a fair point, though with the game's launch only about a month later you're going to be looking at pretty much the final client code anyhow. "Beta" in this case will be for server tests and advertising, not messing with the graphics.

after playing the alpha i know i'll play beta for at least 30h i just hope its much bigger than the alpha was and has way more strike missions.

lets be real here, the 'alpha' was a demo (that thing had les bugs than 80% of finished products) and i bet you money that beta will be the finished product. So there's nothing wrong with DF comparing the two

The beta will come to the PS4 first too.

and x360/ps3 have around 75m lead on ps4 yet it still sold best on ps4.
