Destiny could be the best First Person Shooter Ever?

I am ready to give them my money. After watching the Vidoc video I am already sold. Anyways anyone else think this could be a fresh breath of fresh air for the FPS genre. I am already hyped, Destiny's world looks like a cross between Halo, Fallout and Mass Effect. Looks Epic to me.

They were saying that Halo was the greatests thing ever and Destiny is the most innovate game and will be larger than life lol

I like the premise of it and if it's going I'll pick it up on PS4. But, still waiting on actual gameplay and further details.

Laf @ riding all the Halo hype.

All they did was find a good way to dumb down PC fps for console. Until halo, most FPS on console were straight ports and struggled hard with controller mechanics.

Theres a reason Console FPS arent insanely popular on PC & vice versa. (exclusive or not)

By the looks of it so far, it's interesting but it doesn't scream amazing to me. If it didn't have the Bungie name attached to it nobody would pay attention to it, it looks like another average FPS.

i see nothing very average about an console FPS with elements of an MMO.

With barely any gameplay footage at all, what else is there to go on? As it looks right now sure the concept art and videos look great but nothing about gameplay or how the elements of an MMO are revealed yet.

For right now it is until next gen PS4 and Xbox 720 changes everyones mind, when people relize how awesome they will be.

How can you call it the best FPS ever when all we know about it is a part of story?

I don't know how a FPS can be a breathe of fresh air. Its an FPS. What are they going to do that is soooooooo different? I'm not saying that it will not be fun and worth the purchase, but what is it that they are going to bring to the table that makes it stand so far out beyond everyone else?

Console FPS... lol no I love the irony of the FPS boom. It's one of the most popular genres, yet by FAR the worst genre to play on a console over PC.Fossil-
