Destiny Hate or Hermit Envy

Does anyone find a lot of the Destiny hate seems to be nothing more than hermit envy? We all know hermits cry bloody murder when multiplats don't come to the PC like Red Dead and Bayonetta, than bad mouth them like it's going out of style while at the same time begging, crying and pleading that they would only do a half assed port to the PC. Only to do a 180 for games like Dark Souls that do eventually end up on PC.

Not that hermits don't hate on other console exclusives that have no chance coming to the PC, but they seem to take special butt hurt when it's multiplats that don't go on PC.

Nah. I played it on the PS4. Didn't enjoy it. Its like BL2 but without the funny.

I'm mostly indifferent. Didn't really see the hype since I hadn't seen anything overly impressive

Hermit rage is understandable. They put the most time and energy into their gaming systems yet get treated like second class citizens.

When everyone else is playing Destiny Hermits will be playing Ryse lmfao!

Why would there be data in the Steam database though? I think it's only logical to assume this game will be coming to PC, albeit not this year.

I could have played the beta if I really wanted to, and yet I didn't. Most PC gamers have a PS3 or PS4 at this point. You guys always seem to forget that. It's never envy, it's just disappointment, knowing that there is a much more suitable platform with arms wide open.

It's just a high budget, AAA game. It's cool to hate those.

I've not seen any hermits bash Red Dead or Bayonetta, in fact RDR is constantly top of peoples wishlists when games people wished were on PC are discussed.

The reason people are bashing Destiny is because it seems kind of dull, I played a couple of hours and it looks nice, mechanically it's fine but it wasn't very gripping. It just seems designed as a time sink, lots and lots of content but none of it's really that fun and I'm really over games like that now.

There was a lot of it, but it has really died down I figured it was just from Destiny not being in the hot seat like it was during beta, but now that I think about it it's more than likely due to the supposed leak that it's coming to PC which has probably silenced a lot of the hermits. Even the ones that had no intentions of buying it anyway.

Most of the hate was from idiots calling it an MMO, (mislabling genres drives people mad sometimes)..but that stopped now that the fans of the game accurately see it is more like a simple co-op shooter like borderlands2 , rather than a mmofps Planetside 2.

That being said, the rest of your post was a bunch of fanboy bullshit. Envy? Crying? Pleading? PC keeps getting the better version of most games this gen, on top of more exclusives than all 3 consoles combined. Dat 2-3x larger high scoring library this gen alone = envy? lol...

The most hate I've seen for Destiny comes from hardcore Xbox fans who are pissed about Sony consoles getting special treatment from Bungie.

That said, everyone is allowed an opinion regardless if they go about sharing it the wrong way. I'm personally excited for Destiny.

I guess Shielder forgot many, if not most, dedicated pc gamers probably have a last gen console where we can play the game. I'm indifferent to Destiny so far, but if i want to buy and play it, i can.

If there's anything i was to "hate" about that, would be playing a first person shooter with a gamepad at 30fps.

@evildead6789: I care about it as I enjoy the PlayStation exclusives that the PC won't get. Plus, I was around 8 years ago and unless you spent ten grand on the thing, the graphics of PCs back then wouldn't even come close to PS4's capabilities.

Destiny isn't exactly my type of game. I wouldn't get it if I still had an Xbox 360.
