I reckon an 8.

I think it will get a 9 on Gamespot.

It will recieve high score but will be mediocre consolized trash.

I'm genuinely hyped for this game so i'm not gonna pussy out and underhype it like certain members of the community.

My hype is a 9.

I could seeing it score an 8 though due to most likely an underwhelming experience if played solo.

Big websites will give it a good score but game may not meet lot of people's expectations . It'll get 9 on gamespot (or 8) .

From what I have seen of the game when watching my nephew play it id say its a 7/10. I have no doubt gaming websites will give it a hype fueled 9/10 though.

Activision owns the gaming media...they've already bought their 9's.

But gamers will see it for the 8 that it clearly is.

I'm going with a 9 because I really enjoyed the Beta and want more. I can see the reviews being all over the place though because of the online nature of the game. People who are expecting a Halo like single player experience will be scoring the game much lower than those who played Halo primarily for the MP.

It's Bungie therefore automatic AAA from me. :P

AAA hype - anything less is nervous underselling in my opinion. Developer has a great track record and there's a lot looking up for it I feel. :)

Going by my experience with the alpha and beta, i'm going with AA. No doubt it's a great game, but far less impressive in terms of scale and explorable area than Bungie hyped it to be. Those are desigh choices, so they will not change in the final build.

I nearly bought it earlier.... nearly bought that pathetic level hype... even after playing the alpha and watching videos of how slow and dull the game actually is....

and then seeing moon gameplay where its the same vandal enemies again in the same fashion and ZZZzzzzzz

This game is full of quality. It is a AAA game. No way it gets lower then a 9/10.

I don't think many PC gamers are jealous of 6-player "Raids" and 30fps.

Top notch presentation. Great gunplay. Laughable campaign. Mediocre dialogue. Sub par voice acting. This is what i expect from the game and will probably get 9/10 here since they'll ignore the weak points like they did with Titanfall.

I'm guessing it will get a 9.0 rating. It didn't impress me enough in the Alpha so I won't be purchasing it right away, but I'm sure I'll check it out at some point.

From what I've play of the beta, I'd give an 8. 7.5 even.

I wouldn't be surprised if it got a 9 though. 10 is just going way too far.

It has bungie and activision's name on it. GS will give it an 8 at least. Anyway, I'm glad no one reposted the hype thread like they promised they would. Here's a DriveClub hype thread preview.

It is a beautiful sci-fi game with a plot.

Still didn't understand what the plot was... and I played the beta for a week heh.

I Just bought it.! I thought the beta was fun and there's nothing play on next gen consoles anyway. I really don't see why a next gen owner would pass up on Destiny. Wtf are you guys waiting for?

Games that they'll enjoy? No point throwing money away if you didn't enjoy the beta just to have something to play.

If Bungie still got it, it should easily be AAA here. The alpha/beta was fun enough for me to pre-order and pre-load it already. Biggest game in September so it's no brainer for me to pick this up.

It won't be dead after three months because this has raids and strikes to grind your shit in. In three months there will be an expansion as well. Titanfall had nothing else but shitty pvp with ai in it, of course it died quickly. Grindy games don't die quickly and games supported with new content (and you can be sure Activision will spam the hell out of dlc's/expansions for this one) could last over a year easily.

No matter what I sound like, the fact is that these raids don't even have an automated matchmaker. In other words, only hardcore raiders will bother with them -- 1 or 2% of the playerbase, at best -- while everyone else will just move on in a matter of months.

But hey, maybe it's just a case of "haters gonna hate." I do find the game pretty unimpressive, after all. You sound kinda mad, though, maybe I touched a nerve?

the matchmaking will be added like it was added to Halo 3 back in the day. The complaints will be real and Bungie will have no choice but to add it. This is pretty much guaranteed at this point. Level 31 strikes can be as difficult as the raid and that has matchmaking anyways

No, it's not. That's pure speculation on your part and I'm sorry, but I prefer to deal with facts. The game has no raid matchmaker and there has been no official announcement of it being added in future patches.

In fact, Luke Smith has actually come out to defend their decision not to include this feature, via NeoGAF.

But I guess we'll see. Enjoy that hype though, nothing feels better than riding the hypetrain every once in a while.
