Deus Ex - Good Story?

Do the Deus Ex games focus a lot on story? And is the story as deep and complex as something like Metal Gear Solid?

The plot seems really interesting and Human Revolution looks like a pretty high budget piece of work.

My problem with Deus Ex Revolution is that the trailers have been cool and all, but the writing in them seem very generic. The writing tries to emulate a generic movie, and I think that people get caught up in the fact that it reminds them of a movie, but dont realize that it doesnt necessarily mean that its good.But at the same timeits only a trailer.

The original Deus Ex had the best story of any game I've played. It was incredible!

Deus Ex has a great story. Defintely one of my favorite storywise.
