I'm currently playing Deus EX HR and i feel its a superior and stylish action rpg over Mass Effect series .
How many of you feel same ? :)

Deus Ex HR is the best game we've had this gen. The only advantage ME has over it is the duration of the game.
Outside of technical prowess, I am more inclined to DE:HR than Mass Effect. I just never could buy into Bioware's gameplay system, elements of it were incredibly segmented and I'll be damned if I have to go mine for minerals+supplies like that for more than 10 minutes in ME2.
In the gameplay departament, it completely owns the first Mass Effect, but it's inferior to the second one.
.
As a whole though, it's a close call against ME1... I'll stay with Mass Effect just because I love the series. But DE:HR is not even in the same league with ME2.
Nope, not superior, but it is still a very good game. Deus Ex is one of the best games this year for sure.
Like I've said before in the other threads about the same thing, I really can't see myself playing Deus Ex HR anywhere near as many times as I've played ME2. ME2 just pulls you into the story better.
Mass Effect series destorys Deus Ex HR. I'm more interested in the universe and characters of ME. Plus, Deus Ex HR looks more like Metal Gear Solid rather than an Action RPG like ME.
I see what youre suggesting, but I see the two games have different focus on game play and different reasons for why they are great, honestly though I have seen nothing this generation that has eclipsed Mass Effect 1 or 2, Deus Ex included... Mass Effect is a better game/franchise.
This is gonna be an unpopular comment, but My gripe with Deus ex was that the world felt slightly empty to me... dunno if im explaining this right, I just wanted more to do outside of the main quest. I loved the game though, I havent played gears yet, but i put it right behind Portal 2 for GOTYI just don't see why people are making Human Revolution out to be such a masterpiece. It's definitely a good game, but it's not that great.

And no I'm not talking about **** words in a codex, I'm talking about stuff you can see and NPC's you can interact with.I just don't see why people are making Human Revolution out to be such a masterpiece. Deus Ex really is the better game in every way possible. I only liked ME series for the universe, story and cinematic experience. The core gameplay in ME is pretty subpar.

That's how I felt about Mass Effect 2. You have a freakin' universe to explore and you're cut down to a few hub worlds and some linear missions. To me, Deus Ex HR's little world felt much larger than Mass Effect 2's entire universe.I just don't see why people are making Human Revolution out to be such a masterpiece. It's definitely a good game, but it's not that great.

Even in terms of things you find in a codex, there are plenty of emails and books that do a great job of fleshing out the world within Deus Ex, so I'd say Deus Ex does a bang up job.I just don't see why people are making Human Revolution out to be such a masterpiece. While I love love love loveeee the ME series, DE:HR is far more interesting story wise IMO. Given I am just a few hours into it I am sucked in farther than I ever was in Mass Effect. Its like Mass Effect, Splinter Cell, LA Noire all wrapped up in one...Its phenomenal. Who knows, maybe ill change my mind once I beat it but so far I cant get enough.
