Well..to be honest...Valve also said they wanted to do Wii game and yet it never happend, so I would take it with a grain of salt.

And Valve also said that the WiiIU now fits into their plans due to its power and scalability to their model, which the Wii never had. I think the skeptics need to get real here. WiiU is getting the big third party titles. This is not just talk. People need to deal with it. Assasins Creed, NG3, BF3. Tekken, Batman AC, Aliens, Ghost Recon ect. are all on the way. Wii never got those mainline titles.

I'll believe when I see it. The Wii/DS really soured my opinions of Nintendo online. As far as Valve goes, that's good I guess, but I'll always play their games on PC, so that literally means nothing to me.

Aren't you doing the same thing!? I'm not the first to agree with Baker, but come on!? HHG has been known to make up BS all the time and anyone here can tell you he's not reputable. If the topic is about "Mark Reins comments", then why is it grasping for straws to continue saying that he has no connection to Newell or Nintendo because you won't listen?
HHG makes an entertaining show (I HATE IT, but some like it), he does not present reliable information. Just made up rumors.
The WiiU is going to suck like Wii's online and any other handheld online service of Nintendo. That thing will be dead on arrival. Have you seen that thing? At least make a normal console for the more hardcore gamers. They just have to implement some lame gimmick. It's really ugly, so will its online service be. When it comes to online, they have a lot to learn from XBL. I have spoken.
