Black Box, I wouldn't be shocked if it was all ready shut down, 0 decent games to their name, and they've made TONS...
Thats a whole lot closer than you think.Eidos. After Tomb Raider: Legend I thought they got their touch back. TR:Anniversary, Kane and Lynch and TR:Underworld convinced me it was just a fluke.

I hope they make it through. MK Vs. DCU is surprisingly good. And TNA: iMPACT was a pretty decent rasslin' game, but it just lacked in content. I hope they can stay in business and turn things around, kinda like Atari is in the process of doing.

The career mode AI in TNA Impact was intolerably bad...of course, exhibition mode in it is great, if you have people over to play with, or multiplayer.[QUOTE="umcommon"]Midway.BioShockOwnz

They have potential but over the years it just seems they put as little effort as possible into their games. It's sad Game Party is helping to keep them afloat. Yeah those are good games, can't believe I forgot about MK vs DCUSquare-Enix for providing Rehashes of my fav Series of all time FFforeverflame890
Ports give people who haven't experienced the best of the old the opportunity.
They just need to port the best of the PS1 generation, because some of those games are becoming ridiculously expensive.

It could be great and cheesy, especially the Eric Young segments. Although, the horribly cheap (and I mean cheap) A.I. really made the game less enjoyable. It wasn't fun hiptossing (one of the few moves that couldn't be reversed) your opponent for 25 minutes until you got your special. And Jeff Jarrett was sooo hard...:(

It'd be nice to have Vagrant Story on the DS, that's for sure...
Anyway, as far as devs that need to go away, I'll go one further and say that, as a publisher, Atari has LONG since worn out its welcome. The only decent title that's come out of that camp in the last few years has been the Witcher.

I did only say the AI in the story mode was intolerably bad, the story itself was okay, especially considering it came from TNA...[QUOTE="hakanakumono"][QUOTE="foreverflame890"]Square-Enix for providing Rehashes of my fav Series of all time FFsvetzenlether

DS can't really handle Vagrant Story. It'd have to be on PSP.
I'd like to see Xenogears released for PSP.

No, Chrono Trigger is proof it doesn't.
It graphically is even better than the N64 so any game from the 32/64 Bit gen can be done on the DS.

Chrono Trigger is a 2D snes game.
N64 games rarely had textures that matched the PS1 games.
Anyways, its more likely that it would be ported to PSP, just as Tactics and Valkyrie Profile, PS1 games, were. Other square games are being ported to the Japanese PSN like Xenogears.

Conker's Bad Fur Day? Perfect Dark? I don't think so.I wouldn't want anyone to be shut down, but...
Infinity Ward- How can a developer whose games are consistently worse than their predicessor get so much praise? You can't even open ****ing doors in CoD!
Guerrilla- I don't care how good Killzone 2 is, there are dozens of developers that could have done much more with the coin Sony spent on GG.
Ubisoft Montreal's Rainbow Six team- Gimme a proper sequel to Raven Shield, dammit!
Bethesda- At least Fallout 3 was an improvement over their previous work (looking at you, IW), but they still have no idea how to make a good RPG these days.
Nintendo- On the condition their franchises are auctioned off to quality developers.
Blizzard- Shock! Horror! I loves my Blizzard games, but I can't see anything good coming out of the ActiBliz merger.
GSC Gameworld- They aren't going to recapture the magic that was STALKER:SoC, so they might as well quit before they really screw something up.

You clearly do not have an agenda.
All the same I will bite, How are they deserving of being shut down? Before you go into anything negative about Resistance 2 (I feel it coming from your other post ive read) http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/resistance2/index.html
Remember it was a AAA title here. Hardly deserving of being "shut down".
id Software. Yes, I said it. The only thing they ever did well was Quake III Arena 10 years ago and it's played competitively......with a mod. That's right, they don't even deserve credit for perfecting the game. They simply provided us with the basic stuff and the modders had to make it pro-worthy. After Quake III Arena, the PC gaming community has let John Carmack ride on his past success. Everyone always wants to know his opinion on the gaming industry like he's some guru..........pfft. Oh, and has Atari done anything good? They're dead to me.TheBigBadGRIM
id needs to stay open so they can release quake live and keep up the servers.
Treyarch. At the very least they need to give up CoD to Infinity Ward.Cooldude224that's funny, I like COD 5 more then COD4.

Conker's Bad Fur Day? Perfect Dark? I don't think so.Think again. Just because the technology isn't being used properly doesn't mean it isn't there.

[QUOTE="PBSnipes"]Nintendo- On the condition their franchises are auctioned off to quality developers.Cherokee_JackWho is a higher-quality developer than Nintendo? It Nintendo's definition of a high-quality "core" game is Animal Crossing: City Folk or Mario Kart Wii, I'd say most. Hopefully we'll see Nintendo make a return-to-form in 2009/2010, but at this point Nintendo hasn't done anything to convince me we're going to see them create worthwhile new installments for their core franchises (or god forbid, a new IP).
I just came into say Spark Unlimited. I see that my job has already been done. :P I hate seeing people lose their jobs, but obviously the guys at Spark Unlimited try to scam gamers with their praise and worship of their games, then they come out and they're nearly unplayable turds.BioShockOwnzI like this answer

They may not know how to please their fans (or they may not care since it seems more profitable to ignore them this gen) but that's no reason to say they're not a quality developer.
